Pontiac exhaust manifolds (or headers) needed, or generic 4-bbl carbs?
OldTrucker replied to W Humble's topic in Wanted!
A picture of what you have would help find them. -
Don't really know. The school bus is 3.5 inches long and the scenic cruiser is 3.25 inches long.
-
Any interest? The school bus was hand painted decals are questionable. The scenic cruiser hand painted and needs a purple pond bath. It is all there except the screws. One end of front bumper broke off and missing one wheel loose on axle. Trade for???

No such thing as too many WIP's!?

Glad someone could use them! Happy Modeling!

Little more done. Had to redo the exhaust and notch the dumpty bed for the stack. Figuring out the snow plow and salt spreader from the instructions is a head scratcher. -

Getting the dump bed mounting pieces adapted to the frame. My luck was the amount I had shortened the frame already was exactly what was needed! -
Built a long long time ago. Shortened the frame with the idea to make a dry spreader like the one I ran at Simplot Soil Builders in Ault Colorado. Got put on the back burner. Decided it would be good candidate for the snowplow and dump bed from the Amt Ford kit. Considered fleet orange but decided the thing looks too good to change so will go black or red with the dump bed and plow.

Built as close as I could to one that used to street race here locally long long ago. Tried to replicate the old Thrush mufflers lat has left so many of us with tinnitus. LOL

Got the body and neck back home. A little too white for me, the first two paint coverings was a bit more yellow, aged looking but my son threw away the paint cans and when he needed another coat guessed at the color. If I'm lucky it will yellow a bit with age, of I could leave it at my sister in laws for a few months and let her chain smoking do the job! LOL Now a little fret work and try oil the neck before assembly. -
Beautiful Nomad! Rare to see one built stock!

In the mail and on the truck. We are at the other end of the block from the PO and the truck just left!LOL

Nice looking Demon! I built the original years ago and I need to get this kit and replicate it! Mine was red.

I found this in a box with my 1/16 kits. I don't even remember building it but I imagine it was a gift from my wife at some time. Anyone recognize the kit??
-
Cleaning out the closet and looking in all the boxes to see what I have left. These were all built in the 1980s I am sure as the store bags they were in the store closed in 1987. Found one kit not finished Shelby Cobra.

Had this bag kit laying around a few years. Painted the body last fall for a winter project but didn't get to it. Just got the body foiled and decals on.(thanks to a genius member here. The green is a grass green trying to match one that was running around here in the early 80's.

Carl, I hate going to the doctor too but some times it is the safest thing to do. I would hate to think that bruised or cracked ribs would lead to you getting pneumonia which at our age can be life threatening.

What Older TV show's need to be put to rest already??

Not going to be far behind you. Rates keep climbing and they keep taking things away although seems we only watch 3 or 4 channels, mostly ones that show the old shows. and stream some of those on Tubi, Plex and freevee. -

All I can show is what I have here as the body and neck are an hour away in a shed with paint curing. Bought better electronics than the kit offered. My soldering skills are wanting but it all tested out good. -

Great job of weathering! -
All done except the passenger side door handle that popped out of the tweezer and disappeared into the model parts black hole!
