  1. The engine is definitely a Cummins. For a transmission you may consider the automatic out of the Louisville kit. I've only been around an old Ottawa yard truck and it was an automatic. I don't know what year model you are trying to make, but some of the older Ottawas ran 3208 Cats similar to the engine in the Lousville as well.
  2. Thanks Jacobus! Thanks for the kind words Chris! Thanks so much Rick!
  3. I need the Peterbilt, and several others that Dave offers.
  4. Thanks!! The tachograph I made. I cut one out of the dash of an IH 4200 kit. I then made a back for it. I made a silicon mold of it. I then cast a couple. The filter decals are from Jerry a modeltruckin.com. I make the cab litter. Bags, boxes, calendars, log books, 8-track tape decals are made from photo reduced images.
  5. To everyone else who commented so far, thanks so much!
  6. Thanks Ben. I used Evergreen Styrene .035" round strips. It worked better for me than the quarter round that I had.
  7. I'm glad you looked in!! I actually met you or maybe your dad at the Spencer truck show this year. It was my favorite truck of the show. I was immediately inspired to build this project, though it didn't get started right away. I took a few reference pictures then, but if I need any more I will definitely let you know. Thanks! Brian
  8. Thanks for the comments guys! I've been working on this a little along. The blue is a little lighter than I thought that it would be, but since the door decals are almost purple looking (which I didn't notice until it was against the grey background) it will be okay. I added window rubber to the windshield and rear glass. 9. Glad to see more progress on this one! Looks great!!
  10. I like the color! Looks like a hard working fleet truck.
  11. Cool project! Looks great so far!
  12. Very cool and very clean build!!
  13. KP Conversions, but I'm pretty sure that they are no longer around.
  14. I would suggest Gary Wallace. He has the big back window for $10 and the small back widow for $5. Gary can be reached at gwtrucks@yahoo.com. He's old school with no website. I've had no complaints about his products or service. I would highly recommend.
  15. Nice work!! I like the weathering!
  16. Very nice looking truck, loader, and layout!!
  17. X2 Or an A, or a B or a C or an H or an M or even a W series. Anything IH Red!
  18. Excellent work! The weathering is great! Top notch scratch building too!
