  1. My first project is to clean up my desk to have a place to work. After that, I'm not sure. Tossing a few ideas around though.
  2. Thanks guys!! This one is now Under Glass! Time to move to a new project!
  3. This one is meant to be around an 80 model Cruiseliner. It is "mostly" box stock. Headlight buckets were modified to represent a later version than the kit. It was converted from dual stack to a single. The front bumper is an old R Model bumper from the parts box. The grill is from KJ at Double Take (Very nice by the way). Cab fans are from Double Take as well. Intake pipe ram is from Jamie at Moluminum. The deck plate is from him as well. The wheels are old Clint Freeman wheels. The drive tires are solid hard resin, but I do not know who made them. When it was all done I was actually fairly pleased with how it turned out. 4. That is one nice looking R Model!!! Very Clean work!! The upgraded mirror brackets and headlights make a big difference in the final look!! Excellent Work!!!
  5. Thanks for all of the comments guys! I've started back to work on this one. I've had sort of mixed feelings about this build. After I began to weather the cab, I almost wished that I would have left it shiny. Oh Well! It's growing on me. The chassis is done other than weathering. Still have to put the extras on the cab. Then a little finish work. Thanks Lee. I like them too. I would really like to know who made them and where to get some more. I got them off Ebay. IMG_7496 by Brian Smith, on Flickr

  7. I like what you've come up with here! Looks great!! The glass packs with out tail pipes reminds me of the good ol' days!
  8. Like Dan said, if you're going with very big tires at all, straight axle is the way to go. I have a resin factory style 4x4 conversion for one of these, but it is very simplistic, and it was probably copied from the snap Tahoe kit or similar. Either path you're going to have to do some fabricating.
  9. Very nice, clean build!! Nice detail! I really like the color too!
