  1. So... Does this mean the the ship is always the 'centaur' of attention? Not something Pirates would want, I suspect.......
  2. I've not been able to watch the show. Are the FW-190's in the show wearing the Red,White & Bleu tails you depict in your model? Cool Build! There are never enough FW-190s!
  3. Now, that would make sense, Craig. And the AMT '26 Roadster is out there in fairly large numbers. Most Recently in the horrible "Mod Rod" version where exactly the wrong parts were re-tooled. But, the kit is a goldmine of period parts, and has a truly Awesome Decal Sheet, especially if you are into T.R.O.G. Builds, Beach Racers or Rat Rods. This would be one way to possibly get the all Chromed Flathead engine from the Woody into the Roadster with out too much work.
  4. Jim, not sure how well it would kitbash. I think there would be serious fit issues with the body and fender Frame Units. I'd get out parts and try, but, my Model A kits have all been sold off.
  5. The Oil Spill does not affect the Port of L.A. Rail Gridlock and Lack of Truck Drivers does.
  6. I, too, am sorry for your loss. Gone much too soon.
  7. Going to be interesting to see exactly what parts are in the PP032/24 Emergency Flasher Pack, and there is Slusher's Monte Carlo Super Stocker. Does it share the same 'Up and Over' exhaust with the recent GTO Stocker?
  8. A quik note about my Gripe. I am a Dispatcher for Trucking and Oilfield Work, I've been working 12's and Graveyards since 1999. I had a 9 year break from nights from 2011-2020, but that is it. I worked rotating 6days on 3days off for several years as well. So, none of this is new to me. But, I just turned 58, and despite this being a life I am familiar with, I am finding it hard to get "Back in the Groove" for this job. Good Job, Good People to work for, and I am grateful beyond words to be working here. But, the transition is tough. I'll get there though. And, for Tony, yes they still make narcotics that will "Jolt" you awake for one time use. But, I cannot use them, as they are meant as a One Shot Deal, and I work 4 nights a week. Thanks, Guys, Alan
  9. IIRC, the blower case, and both ends are still in the kit, but nothing else. You are so right about the rims, though!
  10. Neat Build! Not something I would ever try, but you really made a striking Model. I do like it!
  11. Wow! Simply Awesome Build. You nailed the period Colour on the car. It looks real.
  12. Looks Like a Beauty to me! Great Colour!
  13. Migraines! That is my bummer for the day. I'm having Caffeine withdrawal as I cut back on my Mt Dew consumption. I work 12 hr, graveyard shifts, 8pm to 8a, and the Mt Dew keep me going. But, I can't afford to keep drinking so many. I'm gaining weight. So, I've cut back on the Soda, but Caffeine Withdrawal gives me headaches. It will pass in a week or two, as I adapt, but it makes for a lousy weekend. But, I have a job!
  14. So, any guesses on which Mod Stock kit will come out in 2022? My money is on the Buick or the '64 Ford, although the Olds could be out too. I really like what Round2 has done with these kits, and the '65 Ford was a Goldmine of extra parts. Just open up all the sprues on any other kit. The Buick still has a cool Weber Carb option hiding in the kit, and who knows what might still be in the others.
  15. Ah, Chris DID do a Review of this kit. Good to See.
  16. This Chevette. Is it close to the Bear Bait Kit? I'm guessing it is a progenitor of it. It would be a great re-issue with the Tent and other Extras.
  17. Re: the '37 Chevy. *Pre-Orders bill in advance and orders with pre-ordered items will be held until all items can ship. Expected arrival dates are estimates and subject to change. If you are in a hurry for currently available items, please order future items separately. The AMT 1937 Chevy Coupe from more modern era tooling is a modeler's favorite. We have confirmed with AMT that all the original parts are in the kit, so we actually have a (4 'n1). Here's the deal, the instructions on this one only provide building steps for the Bonneville Racer version. But, a note in the box references the AMT-Round2 websIte and provides a link to download instructions for building the other versions.
  18. How about the Chevette? https://adamrehorn.wordpress.com/model-kits/out-of-box-reviews/mpc-125-1979-chevette-bear-bait/ I'd be in for this one! (I think the Citation was a Monogram only kit, but I could be wrong)
  19. I love that after reading James Duff's "Trifecta" Comments and Snake's "Three ways to handle the problem" Comments, people just keep circling back to the same tired whine about Top Chops and Accuracy. Let's put this a baldly as possible. The Kit is now, the way it will be forever. As Snake said you have Three and only Three options. Posted 9 hours ago True dat. As with every other kit with flaws ever made (which is most of them), you have three choices: 1. Build it and live with it. 2. Fix it yourself (or buy a "corrected" aftermarket part). 3. Throw it back in the box (or just leave it on the store shelf) and go build something else. Further Commentary on these Forums will not change any of the facts about this tooling. I find it fascinating how many folks will continue to want their grievance rather than just accepting the situation. Guys, Nothing you post now, or tomorrow, or next week, or next year will change this kit, or the perceived issue. I'll yell for a bit now. NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE! It is Done. It is Over! Build it! Don't Build it! Very, Very politely agitate for a better result on the next kit. But, as the say on "Forged in Fire", "Put your tools Down. This Round is over" Look. I Get it. I really Do. We as a collective are very passionate about this hobby, and many of you guys are Master Craftsman who are almost physically hurt by shape and proportion errors. But, this is at it's heart a Time & Money Business. And as a Business, at a certain point, you have to sell finished product to earn revenue. No Revenue, No Business. WE can all carp about the quality of the finished product. But the only (ONLY) input we have is our wallets. Buy It, and support the business. Don't Buy It. Punish the Business for not giving you what you want. Esoteric discussions about what "Should Be Possible" are non-productive for the future, and ultimately probably do not help the collective Cause of "More Accurate Body Shapes & Dimensions". Alan
  20. Amen, John. Poor Choice of optional tires in a kit that never needed that particular tire in it. And, I'll second the motion to hate on those dreadful Rallye GT Tires. Almost as bad as the BFG's.
  21. Yeah, I think they may have been in something else, but I'm not sure what. But, they are a Horrible Tire option for this kit IMHO. Too Small and they are awful tires. I've thrown away several dozen of those tires in the last 20 years.
  22. After looking at Part 3 of Tim's build, I'll call out one part that Moebius Goofed Badly, and one that is Awesome. The Blower Scoop is just Lousy. Fit is awful, at the front, (notice the gaps) and the bland ridges are just tired looking. (same for the Valve Covers) Un-inspired and boring, these are real let downs, IMHO. The Headers on the other hand! Wow! I wish Moebius had put all 6 parts on one tree. Then they could sell just the Headers in 12 packs to Gasser Builders who wanted them. P.S., The wheels look good, the tires, less so.
  23. Here it is almost October. Are there any updates on this kit?
