  1. One of these kits has a single Disc Type Hubcap on the Chrome Tree. I don't remember which one it is. Maybe they'll clone that one. It is the Tope Kit that has the single Stock-ish Wheel.
  2. Rob, you beat me too the punch. I was hunting those same pics, myself. So you are betting on it being the aged but still stock MPC Mustang? There are a ton of extra parts in the AMT "Tope Racer" but I don't see how (or why) Round2 would go to the trouble to tool up anything new for it, to bring it back to stock form.
  3. Cool. Thanks for the links!!
  4. Neat Car, Great Build, Cool Name!
  5. Looks like you nailed it, Dead Center! A Fine Representation. Where did you find the story and pics about the original?
  6. Great Job for a first try, on the weathering! A hint though. Those Bullet Holes look like they were made by a 40mm Anti-Tank gun. You might try a much smaller hole on the next one. Other than that, Model On!
  7. Rex, since you are the Local Guru on Mustang Kits, what could we expect inside this box? Is there anything Round2 could have added back into the kit, or do you think it will be a straight re-issue with new decals?
  8. Ah, I've got that kit too. But, the Elky Mags are in the box with the GTO.
  9. My questions is exactly "how big" does the parking lot need to be for a U-turn? Only an acre, or do you need "Forty Acres to turn that Rig around"?
  10. Very Carefully!
  11. Simple, Clean, Laser Sharp Build! Three Thumbs Up!
  12. Way to go, Mike! That is looking Great! Outstanding Colour Choices.
  13. Great, Thanks! I have plenty of Mags. I'm thinking of using the set from the AMT '65 El Camino, or the AMT '40 Ford Coupe.
  14. Thanks, Gents. I'll scrap the Trips, and find a good Bug Eye Air Cleaner, and assemble the rest of the motor stock. Carmak. You said Slot Mags? Would Cragars work too?
  15. Could a "Day 2" '72 GTO have the triple carb setup that was used on the earlier GTO's? I want to build the MPC/AMT GTO that way, but I'm not sure that the tri-power is a Legit Mod. It would sure be nice to see this one come back, Round2.
  16. I've done several trades. I've been very happy with all of them.
  17. This is an Awesome Build. I do like Short Track cars. And a Rare F/G Valiant body. I have never even heard of F/G model car bodies.
  18. Tom, That would be a Cool Aztek! I'd certainly drive it.
  19. I'd own an Aztek. I like the looks. I don't like the dreadful GM Build quality. I'd cheerfully buy and build a Model of one.
  20. You don't need a clear coat over decals. The real ones seldom used one. I don't know why so many modelers want to clear coat every thing.......
  21. Thank you for posting this Information all in one spot, Casey. I was searching for the 'hanger shot' pic, when I posted on the other thread about this kit.
  22. Rob Mattis, has the right of it. Fun Kits to build. Enjoy them for what they are, and look for the "Other" Revell '56 for accuracy.
  23. Went to ours, last Friday, the first day it was open. Only 300 people allowed in the store at a time. Waited in line 10 minutes to get in, as the had an employee at the door counting people! Nothing new on the shelf. Went again today. No employee at the door, but lots of One Way Floor Arrows. And a HUGE checkout line. 2 new kits on the shelves, also. The new Coke Willus Gasser and the '62 Pontiac Polyglass Gasser. Good to see, but no sale to me. I guess I'll wait another week and see what happens.
  24. Just Cleaning up the Spinner the way you did, made a huge difference for the better. This is a great save.
