  1. I just wanted Round2 to know what a Superb job they did on the Box Art! With the Low camera angle, the Font and Layout of the Names, the package just screams "Buy me! Buy Me, NOW!" Exactly what Box Art is supposed to do. I hope they sell a million of these kits.
  2. Maybe a Fire Chief Car then. I know they were often higher level trim than the base police car. And with the '70 Chevy coming out, there are fresh parts and decals to use.
  3. Thanks, Casey for seeing that. I'll need two of these now, just for the HubCaps.
  4. Nice! Very Nice. I like the Rim Change.
  5. It is 6:00 am, Here is California. For the first time in many years, I am sick on Thanksgiving. I hate the Flu, and I hate getting older. I'll manage to prop myself up at the table today, but I've been up all night trying (and failing) to get much sleep. Ugh. I'll be back in bed by 3:00 this afternoon. Have a great Thanksgiving, All. Be Thankful that you are well enough to enjoy it!
  6. This kit should share the whole inner fender structure with the Blazer.
  7. I've been told that the pillarless hard top 4 doors, were not used as Police Cars, but I will build mine that way anyhow. It will look good, I think.
  8. I'm in for one these. Going to be a Phantom CHP Cruiser.
  9. So, how soon before there there is a Resin Hood with a Spare Tire dimple? Kit looks awesome.
  10. Daniel, that is Hands Down the best Monza build I have ever seen, Stance and Colour are perfect! I like the rims too. Way to Go!
  11. Chris, I recognize the Landmaster and the Brubaker Box, but the rest are unknown to me. Musk's truck looks unfinished, like most of his stuff frankly. His whole life seems to be like the the SouthPark business plan. 1 Big Idea 2 Something, Something, Something 3 Profit His only real Talent appears to be getting Government Subsidies, and keeping people from looking too closely and avoiding giving direct answers to any questions. He is Harold Hill "The Music Man" for the 21st century. He is a friendly, likeable Conman, who has never had to own up to the chaos that he thrives on. I'd have much more respect for him and his business ideas, if he did not take so much as a penny of US Govt Money.
  12. I had that Revell Super Spyder as a lad. I need to just bite the bullet, and pay for one on eBay. I now know that it is a pretty lousy kit, with a generic "One-Size-Fits-All" Revell Chassis, but at 16, I thought it was the neatest kit ever. AS far as Review, I think the recent Round2 kit was the AMT, with added parts. So, I'd like to see what is in the MPC kits.
  13. What Ever Works! I'll wind up buying these decals from some guy on eBay who parts kits out.
  14. Does not look like it. Phoyos are small, though, so hard to tell. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/1-sort/amt-super-stones-fi/?view=roll
  15. I've got that much space in my warehouse. I'll have to get started.
  16. The only Three of these kits I'd like to see restored are the Olds, Buick and '64 Galaxie. The Chevies are both Meh kits to start with, and the others just don't have any appeal. Partisans for other kits, will of course disagree with me. And I understand that. But, given a Big Sack O'Money, those are the only ones I'd fool with.
  17. Yeah, my definition of a "new kit" is one I have never owned. The '59 Imperial fits this. So do the Fuzz Duster and the Pinto Popper. So, bring 'em on! And if it has to have Coke Branding to Sell, then I am all in on that too. If the only way I'm going to get an AMC Matador or Javelin, is for it to be a Coke Tie In, tell me how much Coke I need to buy!!!
  18. At least, It is a Very Nice Rabbit Hole, Casey.....
  19. Tony, I don't think that the sales potential of the restored kit, is worth the cost of rebuilding the tool. If you look at what is in the box of most of these Mod Stocker kits, there is almost nothing left of the original. In most cases, even the chrome trees, have been trimmed down to tiny nubs, with just bumpers, grills and wheels. And some times, you don't even get wheels. The '64 Galaxie and '69 Torino kits have un-molested chrome trees. All the others are pretty much skeletal remains.
  20. You and me both, Dave!
  21. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/1961-1970/amt-1965-chevy-el-camino/?view=roll#6 Shows 5 spoke Cragars, front and rear, here.
  22. I have a couple of these kits started. I need to go back and work on them.
  23. Talk about a huge, steaming pile of "Meh", that list is the exemplar. If Blitz Partners want to "Move the Metal" that is not gonna do it. Hopefully the list gets a better reaction in Europe.
