  1. Excellent Colour Choices, on an Outstanding Build. There is a '55, 4 Door Sedan in that exact colour combo here in town. The windows in the back doors, have small placards taped to them that simply say "Not for Sale". I've seen the car around town for over 30 years.
  2. Wow! Another Masterpiece in the making! I will be eagerly watching. Good Show. Alan
  3. Great Job on the Wrecker! The Blue / White paint is perfect. Good Show.
  4. Awesome Build, Chuck! Your backstories really add sparkle to your builds! Good Show.
  5. Very Sharp Build! I really like it in Orange. The Dump Bed makes a nice change from the standard pickup. Good Show.
  6. Is GW Trucks still in Business? I want to try to order some Heavy Duty Drive Tires from him. Thanks, Alan
  7. Looks like AA batteries. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/ford/1961-1970/amt-64-ford-galaxie/?view=roll#1
  8. So, Mark, how goes this build? I just bought this kit at HL, 40% off, and I am ready to start cutting and gluing. There are not many build threads that I can find for this kit. Thanks, Alan
  9. And Yesterday, I bought this kit. So much for what I said in 2017! BTW I did buy the '75 Datsun Li'l Hustler kit back in 2017, as well.
  10. I started cleaning my garage last weekend. I was able to finally 'get' to my workbench. I moved all the clutter away from it, and can finally see what is there. As I was cleaning up to the bench I discovered things that I had lost, or totally forgotten that I had bought. Found a Harbor Freight 'Chicago Electric' brand Dremel tool. Brand new, never even been pulled out of the case. I don't know when I bought it. I have no memory of the purchase..... Found Sets of grinding and sanding Bit for the tool. Sealed Boxes. Again, no memory of buying them. Found 3 started car kits, and one Johan 1960 Plymouth wagon kit, that has never been started. Bought it 5 years ago, always knew where was, but could not get to it. The orther 3 kits? I remember them, but it has been so long since I started them that I have forgotten how I was planning to build them. Found 2 boxes of 1/35 scale Armour Kits. Italeri. I did not even know I had these. Like Christmas. New Kits! All in all, this Garage Archeology is fun, and sad at the same time.
  11. I had a Serious Case of "What the He**" yesterday, and blew some early birthday money at Hooby Looby. I should not have done so. But, it has not been a great month so I engaged in some Retail Therapy. Got 4 kits. All from Round2. 1. Dodge 'Country Charger' --aka the "Dukes of Hazzard" kit in Mufti. 2. 1960 Ford Pickup & Trailer. (My second one of these) 3. 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery--the old MPC kit with the Coke decals. and, Last but not Least.. 4. Kenworth Alaskan Hauler. The only one of the 4 kits, that I have never owned. I can't wait to tear into this kit and Grok the parts. Now, I just need a trailer to go with it. I think it has been over Ten Years since I bought more than one kit at a time.
  12. I am alive, and still able to enjoy the many Blessings I have. I don't spend enough effort just being Thankful for My Life.
  13. Yes it is. I'll be getting one soon.
  14. The S-10 Xtreme Wheels might look pretty good on the Elky!
  15. That bed is unique to the Camper Special. It is very difficult to convert it into a 'regular' 8' bed. Best bet is to scrounge a bed from a Moebuis Longbed truck, IMHO.
  16. A nice selection of kits this month, but only the Elky interests me. I'm sure all will find good homes. Better Luck next month, I guess.
  17. Laser Sharp Build. Your clean finish, thoughtful detailing and Tu-Tone paint really make an outstanding pair. Good Show.
  18. Outstanding Build, and a great Tribute to the Guys who drove the Guntrucks!
  19. I hear you , Steve. Just my thoughts on the subject. There may not be much you can do. I really feel for you. Here is a photo of the Official Kern County Dog! The Meth Lab!
  20. It has a Nifty Blower for the Big Block, too. So this is an Custom Version, and the Soap Box Derby version is all stock. Guido, I agree with you about the wheels. They're not bad really, but have absolutely no Pizzazz! They are the worst possible thing a Mag Wheel can be.. Boring. I wish Round2 had thrown in a set of those ubiquitous 5 spokes that they always used as an option in other kits.
  21. Once Again, HPI Guy has it. It looks great so far, I want one.
  22. I'm looking for accessories for my Revell Rubicon Kit. So far the only Upgrade part I have found is this Bumper Set from Iceman Collections. https://tx3dcustoms.com/products/jeep-classic-tube-winch-bumper?pr_prod_strat=e5_desc&pr_rec_id=6dbf3f837&pr_rec_pid=7722202529986&pr_ref_pid=7721162440898&pr_seq=uniform It Looks Great, and I'll be ordering one soon, but are there any other Resin casters doing parts for this kit? I am happy with the Stock Wheel/Tire package, but I'm wanting other Light Bar, Roof Rack, and Other Misc. parts. Is there anything else out there? Thanks, Alan
  23. Awesome Truck. You did a great job on the details. Good Show.
