  1. The scoops will not be add-ons. On the '65 Merc, the 'Nostrils' in the hood are molded open, and it is all one piece. I expect that the '64 hood will be similar.
  2. That fella knows his around Both a Sawzall and a Mig Welder. Has a heck of a boneyard too.
  3. Now, I'm in. That is the Comet I want.
  4. This is just awesome! Looks like a surplus Park Ranger's truck. You got all the right details on this build. Good Show.
  5. Well, The '63 Nova Wagon, the '68 Coronet Twins, the '64 Chevy Malibu SS were all just Wishlist Items at some point too. The wagon especially seemed to be a kit that few were visibly clamoring for. Yet, it seems to be a sales Success with 3 hits off the tool so far. I think the '74 Charger has at least as good a chance as the Nova Wagon. Besides, MOPAR Fans are Just That. Fans! So there is some built in demand already. We'll just have to wait and see.
  6. The Composer who gave Mission Impossible and Bullit, has passed on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalo_Schifrin I'm sad. I liked so much of his work. His compositions were the music of so much of my youth.
  7. To get back on track... I really just want the Super Charger kit, back with all the parts left in the tool, and new tires and decals. That Would satisfy me, and many, many others.
  8. But, on that little Nissan, they are exactly what is wanted. Great Use of the Tire!
  9. Good for you, Scott. Enjoy the build.
  10. Awesome Build! The Green over White Paint, gives it a distinguished look. Good Show.
  11. Age! My left Hip, right Knee and both shoulders, are all hurting. And I've done nothing to inflame them. Time for more exercise and stretching.
  12. My Vote? As raced!
  13. Oh Yes! I agree on this. Those Rallye GT Tires are the worst, and they wound up in so many AMT kits...... I do not miss them.
  14. Wow! Has to be the best build of that kit I have ever seen, Rich. The details are Just Right.... Good Show.
  15. Great Build! We forget now just how shiny cars really were 70-80 years ago. They were shiny of course, but nothing like the miles deep gloss we see to day. Your Factory stock paint job looks perfect! I like that shade of Blue too. Nice Detail on the interior. Good Show.
  16. Man, the guys who manned the real thing were Crazy. I'd not have gotten in that thing for Convoy Escort. Having driven an M37's cousin (the M43 Ambulance) I shudder to think of what it was like to drive that thing. You model really captures the essence of these little rigs.
  17. Only 94 today. 104 predicted by Friday.
  18. Took the Rottweiler to the Vet to get sedatives for July Fourth. They were badly overbooked, so we had to wait in the Car with the A/C running. I found out that my 105 lb. dog pants so hard that she shakes the car! When she would pause to swallow, the car would go still. When she panted again, the car would bounce. A gentle bounce, but she rocks the car, nonetheless. Truly weird....
  19. One of my Father's Favorite sayings. Especially when we went to farm equipment auctions with reserve prices.
  20. Ouch! I am sorry for you. Glad you are OK.
  21. Oh yeah. My Grail. I need to just track one down and pull the trigger......
  22. Those RR Armoured Cars were not 'cut down'. They were purpose built, and a couple still exist. Roden Models sells both WW1 and WW2 versions, in 1/35 scale. Beautiful kits, but lots of very small parts. The Belgian Minerva Company, and Lanchester Motor in GB made both high End Cars and and Armoured Cars in WW! too. The Choice of the Roller, Minerva and Lanchester was because they were Large, Heavy Cars with strong engines that could carry the weight of an Armoured Body.
  23. Too Bad you are 2350 miles away..... I could spend as Much Money in your shop as I spent on Fuel to drive there.
