  1. I knew that, Mozzi. I was making the point that Revell seemed to be treating them as two different cars. (or Kits)
  2. It's like the sheets are for two different cars.
  3. Start Writing Checks, Buddy. Why wait for someone else to do it........
  4. Than Maybe for many modelers, proportions do not matter as much as other aspects of the kit........
  5. I think the colour referred to as "Barely Gray" is actually "Barley Gray"
  6. I'd really like to know more about this car and the owner! Really clever setup, and a "Won't Take No for an Answer" mindset!
  7. Can you say "Photoshop"? That is my guess anyway.
  8. Big Oly Bronco. https://www.autoweek.com/car-life/a39933893/run-out-of-talent-trash-a-18-million-dollar-piece-of-history/
  9. I'll vote for Brainfart, and the typical disdain (or rather lack of understanding) that Europeans seem to have about Americans.
  10. Because they are Fun! Because many of us have fond memories of them. Especially at time when Models were just that. Model Cars. Toys! Not Replicas. Not Scale Reproductions. For those times, (as an Child or Adult) you did not know or care, about exact scale fidelity. Truthfully, I think the Switchers kits look better than many of the old AMT '32 Fords, any way. And the MPC Fords offer some great engine and wheel options. There is a Joyfulness in the Switcher kits, that no Model today will ever have or attempt to attain, with today's Adult Oriented Marketing and Budget Constraints. Lastly because many people like them, and I suspect not all of the people who like them today, are the folks who built them when they first appeared in the 1970's.
  11. At 2am, I do not find them Comical....... Especially when I have one of my Bi-Weekly bouts of insomnia.
  12. Thank You, Steve. Proof that selling the 'Vert First leads to more Hardtop sales.
  13. I guess it is a function of getting older. I love the sound of Hot Rod engines. But, there is a time and place for everything. At the Racetrack or Dragstrip, I'm in Audio Heaven. Driving down the street, not so much. Driving down the street in front of my house? No at All!
  14. The comment I heard from the older folks 40 years ago, in response to Loud, Annoying Cars, was always, "How Nice, Daddy Got you an Accelerator Pedal", always delivered in a slow, sarcastic tone.
  15. You , Steve, look to be the exception to the Rule. I've seen way too many 'dipped in molasses' paintjobs myself at shows.
  16. The Real Ones never looked as good as your build! Very Nicely Done! Good Show.
  17. Wow! What a Home Run Build. I like the whole package. The subdued graphics are great. Good Show.
  18. Thanks, Mozzi. I'll get some Tamiya Primer ordered. I already have some Tamiya Paints.
  19. Thank You for the clarification, Mark. That clears up a lot of things.
  20. Okay. I'll check it out. Thanks, Bill and Others.
  21. Ok, thanks Bob. There is an Autozone pretty close by. So, 1200 , 2400, anything finer?
  22. Thanks, Dave. Coming from you, I'll take that as the Final Word on the subject.
