  1. I was thinking TIRE smoke!
  2. Thanks Mark, Tom, and Carl for the comments. I'm still kickin' it around. Not sure how far I want to go with it. I'm wondering if I should use the Foose frame/suspension/engine, or try to lower the Mobius suspension a little and adapt it to the Foose engine. I don't think the Foose rear wheels/tires will fit inside the Mobius fenders, so I might have to try switching boxes, or using front tires on the rear and rear tires on the front. Guess I'll play with it and see what works.
  3. Good luck, I think that 48 might be the worst kit I've ever seen.
  4. Got the new Mobius 66 Ford pickup, looks really nice. I'm thinking about kitbashing it with the Foose 56 to go with the Foose truck I built a while back. Any thoughts(good or bad idea)on that kitbash?
  5. How can I find out what my log-in password is, in case I have to sign back in? I've had it saved for years, and don't remember what it is.
  6. Almost every one I build goes like that.
  7. Instructions are terrible(don't follow assembly sequence), and for a snap kit, the parts fit is not the greatest.
  8. Thanks Russell. Are there vendors selling things throughout the show, or just during the trade show/swap meat Sat. A.M.?
  9. What are the hours of the show? I can only make it on Friday, so I want to get an early start.
  10. Thanks Andy, did you use a silver basecoat, or just primer?
  11. Oops, I didn't see that part.
  12. I'd like to see something completely different, a 49(I think) Studebaker pickup. These were very cool trucks.
  13. I think this is just an example of American corporate thinking(or lack of thinking). If it makes absolutely no sense at all, we'll do it.
  14. I can't see the pictures.
  15. I don.t know if any other HL is doing this, and I can't figure out why they do it here, but they stick new kits behind old kits. I've started looking behind the older kits, and last week I found a 65 Riviera behind a Foose El Dorado, and today I found the 60 Chevy pickup behind a 94 Ford pickup. I already had these, but a few weeks before that, I found the 59 Imperial I was wanting behind another kit. They've had the 68 Chevelle for a few months now, and already sold out of the new Mustang. Seems to me that they would want people to know when they get new kits in, but I'm OK with it now that I know the trick, I'll be getting the new stuff before anybody else knows they are there.
  16. Has anyone tried Krylon Shimmer on a model? How did it work?
  17. Hey, it rings when someone calls me, and when I call someone it makes their phone ring, that what phones do!
  18. I'm with you Snake. My flip phone works just fine for me, and for $25 bucks a month, I don't care who laughs at me.
  19. Are the stripes painted on? If not, where did you get the gold decals?
  20. Thanks, I did check, and they're $49 bucks and change+tax, so not too bad>
  21. They're on the shelf at Hobby Lobby now.
