That would be a blast. There used to be a company in Vancouver, BC called Scenic Rush that did a supercar experience. You would drive from Vancouver up the Sea To Sky Highway to Whistler, have a fancy lunch, then drive back. Takes a full day, and you experience four different exotics. Was an awesome day!

Decals arrived from SpotModel. Sheet of Porsche logos, so now I can finish up the 3d printed Porsches I've started, and have plenty for the upcoming printed Porsches I'm doing.

The old Tahoe has been parked for about a year now. After doing some body repairs last summer, the "new" fender and hood turned out to be more flawed than originally thought. Plus it needed a lot of work; sudden and mysterious electrical gremlin that started sucking the juice, tie rod ends, ball joints, complete brake job front & rear, plus some rust starting to bubble up. Because I don't have a heated garage to fix things over the winter months, we just parked it. Sat all winter...and spring...and most of the summer. Last week I decided to get back on it. So bought a new battery, chased down the electrical issue, which turned out to be a frayed ground cable. Cleaned it up, and ordered a bunch of parts. So I guess the project is back on. I still see all the flaws, but looks pretty good when cleaned up.

Especially when aliens are involved. 👽

Will do! It has the turbo inline 6. Super smooth and quiet drive, even with the Duratrac tires. Fast too, and it's not even the high output version. Two days in, so not much to report yet.

So...I did a thing.

What did I accomplish recently? Well, I have a project I'm working on. Initial plan was just to change the factory wheels. So I 3d printed a set of wheels and tires. But... Then I decided it needed a new engine, so I 3d printed a new Hellcat V8 in what I thought was properly scaled to 1/25. Then I decided the new engine looked too small, so I found dimensions for the real thing, calculated it out to 1/24 scale and reprinted it. Then I decided THAT looked too small. It's the same size as the stock 360ci V8. Plus I got the placement of some of the pulleys wrong. So now I'm re-sizing it up to almost 1/20 scale and 3d printing and building a third engine. Plus, the 2nd engine didn't fit too well, so I bought the files for a full tube frame front end to swap into the kit. Which means all new suspension and brakes. But it will have functioning steering, something old AMT kits just don't have. Which means cutting apart the frame and reconfiguring the radiator and body mounts and all of that fun stuff. This thing is snowballing from a simple quick build to something far more complicated. 🤪

Excellent paint work! Just needs some "tooned" 454SS graphics!
