  1. Scalemates has it. Free download in pdf. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/monogram-2605-turbo-trans-am--193533
  2. Keep in mind that owner's manuals usually change in response to user issues. So that means that the previous, older generations tried drinking the contents of the battery and looked into the headlights.
  3. Besides being available in both 2 and 4 door flavours, the new Charger will also have gas and electric engine/motor options.
  4. The new Charger will be available in both 2 and 4 door varieties. Although they've only shown 2 door versions so far. Personally, I don't care. The number of doors makes no difference to me. Probably because obtaining a newer Charger has never been on my radar. I can say though that BMW's naming conventions and numbers of doors on their vehicles has driven me nuts for years. 3 Series was split into two models. So now the 3 Series is 4 door only and the 2 door version of the exact same car is a 4 series. Unless you get the 4 Series Gran Coupe, which is also a 4 door. And then the 5 Series is a 4 door, and the 6 Series is a 2 door. Again, unless you get a 6 Series Gran Coupe, and then you have a 4 door which is essentially based on the 5 series, also a 4 door.
  5. This is very cool. I've wanted to try some sci-fi builds for quite some time now. This makes me want to do it even more.
  6. The guy on the right could also be analyzing the full 2024 colour palette for most car manufacturers.
  7. A couple of years ago, I acquired a kit in a trade here. Factory sealed kit, but when I opened it, the contents were from a different kit. Parts, instructions, decals...everything. It was a perfect, complete kit. It was just the wrong kit. Nice box though. Ended up trading it to someone else who would actually build it.
  8. When I was in junior high and high school, we had a 1968 Fury III convertible. White with the black/white interior and white top. And then right before i turned 16, we sold it. So I never got to drive it. Or inherit it. Lolz. I'd love to find a kit of this one, but I don't think one exists. Maybe Johan? At the same time, we had a 1977 Fury sedan and a 1978 Fury Sport Suburban wagon.
  9. I have a few hobbies that I don't have time for. Obviously building models. Guitar - I play, I hot rod, I build. I occasionally jam with friends. I don't play nearly as much as I should be playing, or want to be playing. Reading - I read a lot. Camping/hiking - Almost every weekend, once the lawn is mowed and other jobs are done, we're in the truck and taking off somewhere to go hiking or camping. Even if it's only for a single night. It's why I'm rarely here on the weekends. And my old 1999 Tahoe has now become my project vehicle. My son has been using it for getting back and forth to university, and it needs some help. An incident in an icy parkade means I get to learn how to do some body work. Plus, it's getting old and rust spots are forming. And I'll need to do some mechanical repairs; brakes, front end, rear suspension. We got the boy a new ride, and the Tahoe is now parked, so I'll be slowly teaching myself how to fix all the things.
  10. Robbin Crosby vibes on that Jackson!
  11. I think if someone likes it then they should do it.
  12. The tiny engine in the EcoSport and some Focus. Parts aren't made in house, so waiting on suppliers. A few other fun recalls. Last summer, the Super Duty trucks had a stop sale recall. Incorrect tire pressure sticker on the driver's door jamb. I had three sold trucks that customers could not take delivery of. Last summer, Transit stop sale recall. Supplemental pages had to be put in the owner's manual. January 2024. Stop sale on the Medium Duty (F650/F750) trucks for a parking brake issue. Not fixed until mid-June. I had 6 trucks sitting, each with upfitting ranging from $20k for a fancy flat deck, to $50k for a cube body, to $75k for a reefer unit, to $175k for a 20ft aluminum service body package. Maverick now has an engine replacement recall too. And I've been waiting for vinyl floors for the E-series cutaway since December. I have a client that ordered some cutaways and didn't want the floor, now the upfitter building buses on them says they need the floor. Back order, no stock Canada, no stock USA. No ETA. At Ford quality, is job....4.
  13. Hey Luna, I have a joke for you... I went to the zoo the other day. They only had one animal. A dog. It was a Shih Tzu. HaHaHaHaHaHa
  14. I saw that title and thought we were in for an incredibly wild Jeep XJ build! Still, I can get behind any XJ project. I still miss my old 93 Sport.
  15. I use Tamiya's Rubber Black. It's available in both jars and as a spray. Looks pretty good to me.
  16. I prefer an engine, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter. I'll buy curbsides and full details. Once it's built, I almost never go under the hood or look at the chassis, so it doesn't really bother me if there isn't much to look at.
  17. Porsche did something similar on the 968. The tail lights appeared all red, but the turn signals flashed orange and the reverse lights were mostly clear. Coloured bulbs? Or German magic? Hmmm...
  18. I've actually converted a few of my Jeeps to the Euro-style lights over the years. Amber turns just made more sense to me. Maybe it's just what I was used to, as I worked with VW and Porsche for many years, right out of high school. And the amber turn signals were just what I was used to. 93 Cherokee - amber turns in the tail lights, and side markers in the front fender. Did my 05 TJ Sport as well, but I'll be darned if I can find any pics of it. Weird.
  19. Man, I need to get back to my build.
  20. Stunning work!
  21. Are you looking at making wheels and offering them for sale? Or are you making files for 3d printing? Anyway, there are two I'm on the hunt for right now. First are the factory hubcaps for an AMC Matador. Second are the wheels for a new Ford F150 Lightning.
  22. Found this one cheap, cheap at a garage sale. Complete, still bagged, decals look brand new, not yellowed or faded at all.
  23. Welcome aboard, from the province next door! Looking forward to seeing you build that one. The type of truck I'm very familiar with on the roads around here.
