  1. Not at this time. Online merch is quite low on the priority scale for the time being. We like the idea for sure, but there are some far more important things to take care of first.
  2. I've been thinking about this build quite a bit... And that's about all I've done! I do have some 3d files ready for printing, so I should probably get going on that.
  3. For larger builds with a high parts count, that's not a bad idea at all. I've built some Italeri truck kits with a dozen or more sprues. And I have some 1/32 and 1/24 aircraft that look to be quite parts heavy. This would definitely help with organization. Hmmm...
  4. It's not just the blower up top that I'm questioning. What's with the intake in the front bumper? That's weird.
  5. Even up to the 90s we saw a lot of vehicles that weren't available in the US. Even though they kind of were...albeit under a different name. And a lot of the time, some of the cars we got were different/better than the US versions. For example, the 1995-1996 BMW M3. Canadian cars got the Euro-spec engine, while in the US it was de-tuned.
  6. The new Mustang Dark Horse, and the new Mustang GTD are both angry looking. And you can't forget this. Like the unexpected villain in a horror film, you just know this car is about to unleash some serious stuff.
  7. A lot of his books featured Plymouths. I believe it was a '47 that was mentioned a few times in Rita Hayworth & The Shawshank Redemption. Having said that, Buicks are common in his books too. He even has a a book called "From A Buick 8."
  8. It's almost comical how poor the original kit parts are. Once again, you do amazing work!
  9. Similar to what Canepa was doing to Kenworths and Petes back in the 80s. Bumpers, skirts, wheel covers, mirrors, etc.
  10. That white Capri and the Keswick Green Defender both need to end up in my driveway. I love those.
  11. The wheels and tires look great. Definitely bookmarked your site for future file downloads!
  12. Cameras are significantly smaller than mirrors, and therefore more aerodynamic. Better aero should result in better economy. Plus the camera monitors can probably change view depending on the situation; say from a narrow focus to a wider focus. Highway visibility needs vs parking lot visibility needs.
  13. The Testor's Van Hauler has it, but that's in 1/24 scale.
  14. I'm enjoying watching your build immensely!
  15. You should just build them both!
  16. Over the past week, I've finished building three new planters in the backyard, and managed to get them filled with fresh garden mix. Wifey can plant now. And I finished a model. Been a while.
  17. You could also try searching "paper diorama" on pinterest. Lots of free options there! And you'd still have to print them, so depending on scale, either at home or as you said; load onto a flash drive and get somewhere to print them. I did something similar with some brick and concrete patterns. Printed a bunch out at Staples and used them on a garage diorama. Turned out reasonably well, and I have ideas on how to improve it.
  18. For some reason, Andrey removed all of his Fords from CG Trader. They're all still on Cults though.
  19. Looks great so far! I've always liked the look of the base trucks. Even on new trucks.
  20. Andrey's files are really nice, and when finished can look as good as anything bought in a box. So to speak. It takes a while to get the printing thing down for sure. You look really close. If I might make a suggestion, try lowering your layer height. I print at .02, and my layer lines are almost non-existent now. Yes, it takes longer, but it's less cleanup after. Plus, I find that printing the bodies on an angle of 22 degrees works really well. Not sure why, but I tried several print angles, and that seems to give me the best results. Looking forward to seeing how you finish this one up.
  21. All while enjoying your Timmies.
