  1. Not yet. I like the Chitubox interface, so was hoping for a solution within. But another slicer is on my list of things to investigate today. I've used 3D builder to split files that were too large for my old printer, but haven't explored it much further. Can it do slicing?
  2. Okay 3D experts, I have a long time problem I'm tired of working around. Need a fix! Loading a full sized body into my slicer program doesn't seem to work. I've been using Chitubox, and this issue persists in both the old version, and the new version. It also persists with either of my printers selected. Here's an example, using screenshots. First, here's my slicer, no files opened. Now, here's my slicer with the body of a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse. Hmm...something's off. With this one, I'm getting just parts of the body. Now here's that body with supports added. Chitubox is reading the whole body, and supporting it, but is not displaying it. If I delete that body, I can open the individual body files. Then add supports and print these with no issues. But I want/need to print one piece bodies. Here's another example. Here's the full body of a Crown Vic Interceptor. Look on the right side, the file is indeed open. Now I've added the supports. They are crown Vic shaped. And again, I can print the full body in pieces with no issues. These are all in 1/24 scale, but the same thing happens when I try to open it in 1/43 scale. Or any other scale. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  3. The duallie is pretty sweet. Been thinking about that one for myself.
  4. This is kind of model car related. Upgraded to a larger 3D printer. Elegoo Saturn 2. Still unboxing it, looking forward to using it!
  5. Although I don't understand why people are so fired up and excited about this kit, I think a new tooling is a big deal and is definitely a positive thing.
  6. The best part about getting a face transplant would be showing up at the donor's funeral.
  7. There's this one. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/vintage-drag-boat-full-modelkit-1-24th I don't know much about this one, as I haven't bought the file or printed it. But I've printed a lot of his other products, and they're excellent. High detail, high quality. So I can only assume this will be excellent as well.
  8. Well, R2 certainly know their demographic. I'm sure these will all sell quite well. Are any of these new tools? Or are they all reissues or re-workings of existing kits?
  9. For me, it's the 88-98 Chev/GMC trucks. I've always loved these, and just seem to be able to find them for cheap. I have a few dozen of these in various versions, plus a couple of boxes full of parts for them. Could probably build another dozen or so from the parts. Oddly enough, I haven't bothered picking up either of the reissues yet. I guess when I can find the originals for significantly less money, it just isn't worth buying the new. I also gather Porsches. At last count, I'm at 41.
  10. Call the Academy, the winner of ALL of next year's Oscars is about to be released. Well, I thought it was funny... ?
  11. Great looking pair!
  12. If you have a 3d printer... https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/chevrolet-c60-1961 The designer's files are high quality and look excellent when printed.
  13. Once you find the kit, check out Knight Rider Historians over on YouTube. He's restoring the ACTUAL truck and ACTUAL trailer from the show right now. Plus he as a genuine KITT. Pretty cool stuff.
  14. The only one so far is a 1991 Chev C1500. This is what my wife was driving when we met. Combined one of the AMT 454SS kits with an AMT promo kit. Did some frame stretching, and here we go.
  15. Something's a little off here...
  16. Velocity Blue looks better on your build than it does in reality! Great work!
  17. Just when Pontiac were starting to sell interesting cars, GM goes and closes them down. I think if done right, GM could have positioned Pontiac as their performance division. Sort of like an American BMW. Exciting, sporty sedans.
  18. One of my guitars was playing pretty good, but needed a bit of help. Normally I do setups and stuff myself, but this one was stumping me, so I took it to a local guy. Did a full overhaul and major deep clean. Plus fret levelling, added some fret falloff, dressed the fret ends, and replaced the springs. This thing is totally transformed now. Will definitely be sending him more of my guitars. Plus he did some photos that will show up on all of his social media feeds.
