The book is so much better than the movie! Would love to see a "by the book" remake.

I should have taken a video of the sounds my neighbour's truck made after I helped him get it started this morning. Wow, it was NOT happy. Was about -43 C this morning. He had it parked on the street, so didn't have it plugged in. So we grabbed his battery charger, plugged it into the Lightning, and was able to get it up and running in a couple of minutes.

Have been following your channel for some time and just watched this video last night. Beautiful work!

In the 2025 Ram 1500, which will be out by summer, the Hurricane I-6 has to versions. The "Standard Output" has around 420hp, while the "High Output" has about 540hp. Either of those would move the Charger pretty quickly. So what would the inevitable "SRT" version put out? 700hp? I have to think that Stellantis would want it having more power than anything ele, so I'd guess 750hp. Roughly. The EV is a whole different ballgame, and having owned a Mach-E GT, I think this would be the highest performing model, and probably the most fun to drive. Wouldn't sound as good, but it will be the fastest model, and most likely the best handling. But no matter what they do with it, the HO gas engine will be the one most people want.

A bit of a chill in the air this morning. ? Temperature currently about -40 Celcius. That's where Celcius and Farenheit are the same. With windchill, feels closer to -52 C (-61 F) according to the weather channel. For those unaware, here's what happens to your vehicles in that kind of temperature. 1. Your tires freeze solid and feel like you are rolling on flat spotted rocks. 2. Suspension freezes. All the fluids inside your shocks and struts and whatnot solidifies. Rough ride? Holy moly. I've been on antique farm equipment that rides smoother. 3. Power steering? Not really. Again, oil/fluid thickens up, make serious steering effort required. 4. Rubber door seals? Solid as a rock. Can make closing the door a little more challenging. 5. The foam in your seats freezes, so it feel like sitting on an actual bench. A wooden one. 6. Your vehicle will make a lot of weird noises. Now after warming it up for a while and a couple of minutes of driving, most of the above goes away. And as an EV extra: 7. Normal range 500km or so to a charge, drops to about 300km to a charge. At best. And that's with being able to plug in and warm/pre-condition the battery at work during the day and plugging ion overnight. 8. Heater still heats, but not as well as in a gas engine. Heated seats and heated steering wheel still work perfectly though.

Look, because this has come up earlier today, let's clear up a few things. 1. Xingu did not go rogue. Us moderators actually talk about things. And there is an "Admin" sub-forum where we can discuss board issues of all descriptions. It was one of the biggest threads here; with one of the highest post counts and thread views. We didn't take closing it lightly. We did discuss it. Several times. So everyone can just stop with being angry at just one person. Be angry at everyone. 2. Some people think that politics are fine if it's presented as a meme. 3. Yes, discussions and memes about government officials and government policy IS political. Believe it or not. If you get your humour from "Patriot Post" just assume it's probably crossing our lines, as that is a political website. 4. The "humour" was mostly gone from the thread. It was becoming the "old men yelling at clouds" thread.

Nice Wolseley
iamsuperdan replied to Earl Marischal's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There's definitely a body available for 3d printing. And much like the car above, it would need to be converted from sedan to convertible! Not sure what one would use for a chassis or interior though. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mg-magnette-mark-iii-model-kit -
One of the most famous race cars nobody seems to know anything about.....

The board auto-moderates every user until they reach 25 posts. It can't be turned off for specific users, it's all or none. And if we turn it off, the spammers bombard us with all kinds of spam nonsense. So it stays in place. -
Go to Edmonton, then go 15 minutes west. Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada.

review 3d print designers

3DVM has raised the bar on complete kits. Check out his new Mk1 Audi TT kit. I've downloaded it and have started printing. I'd argue that it's on par with Alpha Models. Yeah, I said it. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/audi-tt-mk1-8n-in-1-24-scale -
I thought it was an excellent movie! Saw that in the theatre when it came out. Need to re-watch it for usre.

She actually has a sweater/jacket/vest thing that she wears when it gets really cold. Doesn't bother her at all. I suspect because it fits kind of like her harness.

I dust my builds with a brush before taking photos. They look perfect to my eye. THen I look at the pics and there's dust and dog hair everywhere! Frustrating! I think yours is turning out great.

Luna does NOT Like her winter hat. Getting ready to go walkies. There was a wind, so windchill was a factor. I was wearing my goofy warm winter hat, figured we'd try hers out. Nope. Ahh well, she's wearing a fur coat, so all is good.

Not bad, winter didn't arrive in my part of Canada until January. We finally got some snow over the weekend. Just a dusting. Enough to make me feel justified in buying winter tires for the truck. I'm not really irked per se, but I'm not a fan of cold weather. And it's not even that cold yet. Only -10 C during the day. Supposed to be down to -30 C later this week. Then next week, the temps go back up to -5 or so.

Watched a couple of "foreign" movies recently, both on NEtflix. Vikingulven - aka Viking Wolf This is a Norwegian movie about a werewolf. It's overdubbed in English, and takes about 5 seconds to get used to. Very well done movie. Effects are good, the story is interesting, suitably gory for a werewolf movie without being too over the top. Highly recommend this one. Blood Red Sky This is a German movie, also overdubbed in English. Excellent horror movie about a transatlantic flight that doesn't go well. Acting was good, story is great, effects were great. I'd watch this one again. Also watched Killers Of The Flower Moon. Here's your big winner at next year's Oscars. I think the main actress won at the Golden Globes last night, and deservedly so. Tells the story of the Osage Nation murders. Just an excellent movie in every way. Although I preferred the book.

It's been covered, but I went and saw Ferrari on the weekend. Thought it was really good. Covers 1956-1957, and basically covers the lead up to the ill-fated Mille Miglia race/crash. The movie focused more on Enzo's story than the cars. The car scenes were excellent. Except for the big crash, very little CGI. Lots of real cars doing real car things. Adam Driver did a decent job playing Enzo. Odd choice, but he was good. Penelope Cruz did great, and I could see her nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars next year. I think it's worth watching. Now I need to go and read Brock Yates' book, which is what the movie was based on. Also need to go and watch Lamborghini: The Man Behind The Legend now.

This could be VERY cool. -
Yes, there is definitely something about holding a physical copy as opposed to a screen. Interesting comment about it seeming like a new and different issue, as we are trying a few different things to make the articles more...interesting. Maybe interesting isn't the right word, but we are trying to kick things up a notch. Nothing crazy, no drastic changes, but a few little tweaks here and there. So thanks for noticing! As an aside, when the magazine goes to print, the printer handles the bulk mailing. They do the labels and get everything mailed off. However they do it is very different than when Dave sends out replacement copies. That's why some of you get replacement copies in a very timely manner, while the original issue takes a long time. Now an interesting thing that happened with this issue. As a writer and as part of the editorial staff, I get multiple copies. I had a few arrive around the 18th of December. And a few more copies arrived today. Keeping in mind, these were all mailed by our printer at the exact same time. Weird.
