  1. I'd be interested in purchasing files for printing if you made them available.
  2. Would like to see all of their kits again. I built a trailer, still have a couple of unbuilt trailers. And like a fool, I traded away a couple of the car kits a few years ago. Getting rid of the '48 delivery wagon in particular was a dumb move by me.
  3. I see a few kits of great interest. I'd better take the bottles in for recycling. Gonna need that extra $$$!
  4. Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen it as a flat top.
  5. Every hobby has its "elitists." Those who feel their way is vastly superior to that of the others. We see it around here every now and then. I especially notice it with real cars, and model cars. Mainly because those are the hobbies I pay attention to. That and guitar. I don't bother with guitar forums or discussion groups at all anymore. Too much nonsense and drama. Too much brand loyalty. Too many closed minds. But for every donkey, there's a handful of genuinely good people.
  6. These threads always make me chuckle. New car is announced, people pile on to criticize. I've seen some commenters' posts in the "what do you drive" thread. Pot Kettle Black Cue the people defending their vehicle choices.
  7. I did a few 1/32 scale model kits, and converted them to slots. Diecast should work great on those smaller AFX-style chassis.
  8. Awesome! Can you post up some pics? I'm still setting up the reg cab in Chitubox. Will start printing this weekend.
  9. Try applying a small bit of glue to the rear view mirror. Maybe put glue on a toothpick, then use the toothpick to dab a little on the mirror. Then use tweezers to very carefully place it. you don't need a lot of glue, because the mirror will never get touched or handled.
  10. I'd like to see some 1/24 F1 kits. I have a few of the Revell kits from a few years back. Red Bull, Mercedes. Plus one of the Villeneuve WIlliams from a decade or so ago. Something current would be awesome. The Alpha Models cars look really good, but I'd prefer to stick with 1/24. I've recently found a designer on Cults3D that sells the files for modern F1 cars, and am working on scaling it down to print. It gets tough though for two reasons. First, some of the wings and aero can get very thin and delicate. Second, no decals. Would need to make my own decals. I downloaded Lewis' 2021 Mercedes, and have done some printing on it. Definitely to play with printer settings to see if I can make my prints better. And then figure out the decal situation. Technically, scaling up to 1/12 should be no problem. WOuld solve the issue of thin or delicate parts.
  11. The crewcab is pretty sweet.
  12. 1025 hp on pump gas. 0-60mph in 1.66 seconds Quarter mile in 8.91 Comes on drag radials from factory. I love that Stellantis does this wacky stuff, and has been doing crazy fun vehicles for decades now, while the others get all serious. Speaking of wacky... $131k CDN to start. Was speaking today with a friend who owns a big Chrysler store here. They're getting a handful of these cars, probably 5. He's taking the first one, of course. But the others are currently getting bids, and they have three people - legit, verified, repeat clients - right now willing to drop over $200k CDN just to get one.
  13. There's a designer who I've purchased files from that has a pretty good solution for a truck frame. You print the front section, with front axle mounting points and engine mounts, then print a rear section again with suspension mounting points, and then there is the basic middle section, that you could print multiple copies of, depending on your desired chassis length. I'll take some pics as I'm doing it.
  14. Looks good! Was this originally one of the Revell Aerodyne kits? If so, great conversion!
  15. I've been waiting for the Ford Medium Duty for a long time now! I grabbed the reg cab as soon as I saw it released. WIll be getting the other two as well. Disappointed in the crewcab though. It appears Andrey made the same "mistake" that builders on the 1:1 pickups make. He used the 2017-2022 truck box, while the truck uses the 2012-2016 cab. None of the body lines match up. Would make way more sense to use the old body truck bed. But like I said, I haven't seen any one get this right in 1:1 either, so there's that. I sell a ton of these things here at work, and was just in Indy a couple of weeks ago attending Work Truck Week and a Ford conference on these trucks.
  16. Doesn't take much to keep me happy.
  17. Stopped at one of my old lunchtime haunts today. They make the best sandwiches. And when I was busy paying for my lunch, they brought out the trays of fresh pecan tarts. Had to pick up a 6 pack. Had one here, bringing the rest home.
  18. Excellent work with the snow speeder! Correct in assuming you have a clear rod or something holding it up?
  19. Looks great!
  20. I did smile at this. But then the giant nerd in me noticed that they have a stair truck parked next it, and I hate that because everyone knows the Corellian freighters have ramps that extend for both people and cargo. So stairs are unneccessary. Plus, there's no door on that side of the ship. ANd why does it have wheels? Ugh! Why am I like this? ?
  21. I've come to appreciate the 1/32 scale trucks. I'd like to see someone kit a full detail truck in that scale.
  22. I've seen her vids before. She is amusing. As a metal fan, I give her props for the Wayne Static reference.
