  1. Who owns the Testors molds though? That kit was 1/24 scale, and is very different than the AMT kits. I actually just acquired two more of these for the stash, for a total of three. And figured I'd start one, just because.
  2. I think it looks pretty darn good!
  3. Iconic for sure. Talented for sure. But let's just try and forget her 80s foray into music.
  4. Bone stock for now, with 400hp, 410 lb-ft.
  5. Had these show up in the mail yesterday. My fav trucks combined with one of my fav guitarists? Can't go wrong with that! One is still sealed, the other has been started and is missing a couple of things. But that's fine, as I have enough wheels and other spare parts to complete it. Now I have three of these in the OBS stash. And the guy I got these from, threw in the Joker Goon Car! As a fan of big 70s boats, I dig it!
  6. A well ventilated room and a reasonably understanding wife are important too!
  7. Finally! 2023 F150 XLT 4X4 5.0L V8 Avalanche Grey 302A lux package Sport Appearance Black Appearance Twin Panel moonroof B&O stereo
  8. I was $500 CDN, so yes, much cheaper in US funds. The size is a definite limitation, which is why I'll be upgrading sooner rather than later. The Mars 2 or 3 is perfect for wheels/tires, engines, seats, etc, but printing bodies is a weak point. It's typically not big enough for a full body, and multi-piece bodies need a LOT of work to assemble and smooth out. But for a 3D beginner, I still think it's super easy to be up and running as I described. If one wants to design or modify files though, computer skills would be required.
  9. For those looking, here is a link to all of Andrey's designs/files. https://cults3d.com/en/users/Andrey_Bezrodny/design-collections Each full file is about $28 CDN, so I think that's about $20 US. Andy's prints look super clean, and VERY well printed. His time and effort have a cost, and rightfully so. If you don't have a printer, I'd reach out to him for sure.
  10. I have been searching for that for a long time! Currently, no one does a newer Ford Medium Duty. I sell a ton of these things here at work, and I want to build a replica of this one we did with a 4X4 conversion. Here it is parked next to my truck.
  11. There are a few companies that offer printing services. These files are also available on cults3d.com and after purchasing files, they provided options for printing services instead of just downloading the files. If you want to take the plunge yourself, you can head on over to Amazon and get a full set up for under $500. I paid about $600 CDN for an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro, an Elegoo Mercury Wash & Cure station, plus a couple of bottles of resin, and a box of latex gloves. It's a little small to print larger car bodies though, so I'll be upgrading at some point soon. You do not need to be a computer expert to do this, unless you want to design your own parts. I just obtain files and print, and it's pretty simple. Check the 3D printing thread in the General section of this forum for a lot of info.
  12. This came up last week in the 3D Printing thread. Same company as https://3dprintable.shop/ I've used them, and the files are good.
  13. Starting the hunt for a used tent trailer. Wifey admitted yesterday that with the kiddies now being older (15 and 18) we may not need the 35ft trailer to go camping anymore. So it's going away, and we'll find something a little smaller, easier to tow and store. The crazy thing is, tent trailers now can come with side slides, AC, retractable awnings, and all the things the bigger trailers come with. I just like having heat, and being able to sleep off the ground. The fridge is nice too.
  14. Good looking pup! Looking at those pics, I never would have guessed such high German Shepherd content!
  15. Despite your issues, I think it turned out nice. Everything looks like it fits well in those pics. The time spent fixing was well spent! I've never found the Zonda to be a particularly attractive car. I find it awkward looking, especially when viewed from the side.
  16. You're right. I can do better with double checking in the future. Still no sign of mine here in Edmonton.
  17. Stay strong, Carl. You're one of the good ones.
  18. All four of those new tools are going to be huge sellers, even though they are curbside.
  19. I'm a little disappointed that it's an "easy build" curbside, but I'll still be grabbing a couple.
  20. Two thoughts. 1. That sparkly purple Falcon is not my usual cup of tea, but that thing is sweet. 2. Carshows in January?! That concept is so foreign to me!
  21. Some younger folks will know him, as his career got a bit of a kick when he showed up in the Austin Powers movies. I was aware of him prior, but this is where I first noticed his music.
  22. Yes, have no worries purchasing from him. I have the transkit for the VW Golf Cabrio. Quality is excellent, shipping was quick, relatively speaking. He's in Europe, can't remember exactly where.

  24. There's a nice transkit available for this one too. https://whitechocolate124.com/product/mercedes-benz-190e-2-3-16v-oem/
  25. I think I printed some extra copies of mine. Shoot me a DM with your address and I'd be happy to send you one.
