Very nice classy builds! I like how clean you build your cars! Well done! -
Thanks everybody! Just realized some of the pics posted are right before they were completed but oh well...you get the idea.

Nice work on this!

Beautiful work! The Goat with the louvers missing from the hood is a very realistic touch along with the weathering being subtle and not overdone! The Goat and the Super Bee are my favorites but all are very well done!

I am going to cheat a little as the 54 Chevy and the 72 K5 Blazer were done November of 2017. All of these builds are after over 30 years of just collecting and learning techniques from good folks on forums like this and various video’s etc. I started with rescuing the 54 Chevy from being a victim of my childhood. I had to go with the weathered beat up look to hide the glue damage. All of these builds are for a future diorama, so they all have the “used” look. They were built as follows: Revell 54 Chevy car AMT 72 K5 Blazer AMT 55 Chevy Step Side (Every Which Way But Loose truck) Moebius 71 Ford 4x4 Revell 65 Chevy Impala I thank everyone for bringing me back into the hobby with very supportive comments and providing answers and solutions whenever requested. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! Bill

Update for those interested in "MY" progress. I've been working on the 67 and 68-69 grills without the emblem. I had to do a little re-configuring on the turn signals to get a better fit on the body. I also heated them up a little to get the bow across the front. The kit has a little too much bow so a little grinding had to be done to the the front but nothing a seasoned modeler can't handle. I still have some sanding around the headlights and here and there but hope to get these in a mold box soon. Sorry for the same old story but I want them to be as good as I can get them before casting. Thanks for your patience! Test fitted the headlight and turn signal lens. Couldn't help myself...had to see how they looked! 68-69 grill and the 67 grill -
Beautiful job on this! It brought back some memories of a 70, 500 440 mag car I had with the same color and white stripe. I never did see what she topped out at (too scary). She had 2:73 rear end gears and a 160 speedometer and would probably go past that. Kind of a terd off the line but once wound up, hang on! Well done!

Great idea! I agree with the decals just not cutting it alone. Nice truck BTW!
