  1. Nice work Derrick! Great job on the details. I'm not a fan of that style door, but it works with what you are doing. I look forward to your completion. Chris

    Ferrari Enzo

Looks pretty good. Nice details. Chris

    Pug is done.

Very nice. Clean and well executed. I've got to add one of these to my stash. I really like the front emblem. Nice work there. Chris
  4. Derrick, great stuff! I love those clear view models. Great builds you have. Chris
  5. crispy

    poor thing

That's fantastic! Looks like some of the cars I've seen here in MN. Weathering, an art unto itself! Chris
  6. IF these do well for them and they continue to offer things we've not had, I think it would be a perfect opportunity for them to offer a first generation Ford Bronco. A kit that has been ignored far too long. Many iterations of the kit could come about too making the tool pay for itself in more ways than one. Chris
  7. As a fotki member I have each build utilizing its own folder. I've thought that once I get enough builds I might group the folders of like makers into separate albums. Not sure yet. As a viewer I enjoy looking at them in their own folder only to view the progress pics as it came along. Clicking on say, an album that says Chevrolet, that breaks down into folders of the cars is what I am looking at, not any time soon though. Chris
  8. Nice! I love the colorful stripe, it matches the paint very well. I also like the use of CF for the rockers and rear. Great work! Chris
  9. Brendan, Once again you've got another winner on your hands. Fantastic work. Although it is a bit late now, but would silly putty have worked in this instance? I know Bob has used it with good results. I picked some up to use on a project my son and I are working on after I read about it in FSM, then SA with Bob. Looking good. Chris
  10. Beautiful! Reminds me of Spectra flame paint. Flawless. Chris
  11. Nice work! Probably one of my most fondest and favorite models. I have one to build. Such a cool kit. Thanks for sharing. Chris
  12. DamnCranky, I learned something today. Thanks! What an awesome technique for the rust. I often wondered how that look was achieved. What a fantastic looking Chevy! Chris
  13. MY MY MY Bill! LOL
  14. If I remember correctly Round 2 threw a picture on their web cam. That is what sparked everything. I think, as Mark suggested, is that they may have found some of the tooling. I'm sure they've been looking into it. They never announced it as a re-issue kit though. At least not this or last year. Chris
  15. For Bill: More attractive this way. Chris
  16. When I was at Cars & Cafe this thing stood out. I'm not a huge Viper fan, but this thing is just plain cooooool. Chris
  17. Great job Brendan. I know you put a lot of work into this and it really shows. Came out very nice. Chris
  18. Brendan nice work. I hear ya on the decals. My biggest problem with the kit was the mold lines. Very prominent on the rear bumper. I painted mine in a pearl light blue: Your two tone really works well on this car. Makes me think mine needs some silver on it now! LOL Chris
  19. Mike, are you looking for coated wire? OR would certain gauge regular wire work? I know Michael's carries some gauged wire in bright colors, maybe even the bead section at the store might have something that would work. Just an idea and typing out loud it you will. LOL Chris
  20. Monty, It looks like Mega Hobby still has some left. Freightliner Looks like Tower has some "on order" for a good price too: Freightliner When I heard these were limited I picked up everything. Looks like the next limited one comes out this December in the form of the Transtar. Chris
  21. Here ya go Rob, Bob mentioned this earlier: "Curbside, no motor, chassis there to locate the body and hang the four wheels." Chris
  22. Bob, that looks great "in color". You certainly have an eye for design. Look forward to seeing this one with wheels. With that said, what have you in mind for wheels? That really ties all of it together in my opinion. Bad wheel choice as you know can wreck all that work. I have no doubt you have the right wheels. Chris
  23. That is awesome! Great work, it looks right at home with your 57! Chris
  24. Hey Bubba, just a note to let you know that as per signing up to the MCM board you are to post your real name either as your user name or in your signature line. I'm just saying.... Chris
  25. Nick looks like you're a quick builder. Wish I had the time. Everything looks pretty good. If you'd like to give the dash a little more detail and if you have a craft store nearby I highly recommend some glitter for the turned dash. When I was working on a replica of my 79 Trans Am I purchased some hologram glitter. A little white glue spread into the areas you want and splash the glitter on, shake off the excess and viola, turned dash. If you would like I would certainly send you some, I'll never use the whole bottle. Just pm me your address. Keep the updates coming, I have a special place in my heart for 2nd gen Trans Am's, just ask Tommy! Chris
