That is impressive to go from the concept drawing to clay and then vacuum forming and finish. Outstanding vision! Chris

The F60 was just released in Japan today. Should be hitting the states in a few months. Of course you can always order it at your favorite Japanese online vendor too. Chris

Fantastic! Yes, you've built the first one I've seen around. So glad you chose an off color instead of red. The wheels look perfect on there. Did you have to do any lowering and modification to the wheels? I am waiting for both kits here as well. I'm curious if Revell will re-box the hardtop for US consumption. I believe the spider is coming. Anyway, Great work. I like it!! Chris

Nice stuff Bernard! Very imaginative! Chris

Curt, you are a machine! Fantastic build. I didn't even know about this one until I saw your 2009 completions! This is just too cool. Definitely something that will stick out in any collection. Man, you really know how to do them. Always fun seeing what you build next! Chris

I see a theme here! LOL Great stuff. Looks like a productive year in the hobby! I look forward to more of your stuff. Chris

Curt, I love your stuff! Especially the sports cars and racing stuff. Looks like you are a really well rounded modeler with all subjects. Built a lot of stuff! I'm hoping to finish one more before the year is out. Shouldn't be too long now with my last one. Chris

Ahh, traditional Lamborghini fare. Nice. Here's a link to some pictures I've been saving from around the net and one in particular you may like. I found it while perusing some long defunct site. Lamborghini in black with every imaginable detail shot you can think of: All Lamborghini folder @ Fotki Hope it helps some. I'm not a huge fan of the Monogram kit as I built it way back in '88 and it was missing something, just not sure what! The Fujimi kits are where it's at, but the Tamiya kit is fun too if you simply want something for the shelf. With that said, due to nostalgic reasons I will be buying the Monogram kit to replace the one I built and lost many years ago. I look forward to seeing some more pictures! Chris

Last I heard about the USF1 team was maybe 2011, but they appear to be in development already.Working on a car. Should be interesting after everything shakes out in the off season. Chris -
Brian, what kit are you using? Any colors you have in store? So far so good. Keep at it!

Easy Chuck!! LOL That's what I read on another forum. I'm not saying it's toy-like, in fact I can't say anything as I haven't looked at one. Hoping to get my eyes on one this spring. IF anything I can see some faults in the kit as well just from the article that was in Scale Auto. I can only imagine what the Monte Carlo kit is like. Chris -

I believe Scale Motorsports abandoned their super detail kit due to the model being to toy like. Maybe someone else has jumped in to fill the void? Chris -
Nice work! All of them are clean. Chris

That Buick is just stunning. For everything going on in your life you seem to be doing ok Ron. Remember, an elephant can't be eaten in one bite, but if you eat at in smaller chunks you'll get to the end and be better for it. Chris

Great stuff! I'm really loving those GTO's! Chris

I've got a Badger 175 and love it. I learned on a cheap Testors single action on canned air. When I got serious about airbrushes I looked at what was available at my LHS. I like to hold the item in my hand and get a feel for it. The 175 is a bit bigger than your normal airbrush and felt right. I like that it is a double action unit therefore giving me a little more control over both paint and air. It takes some finesse to play with it if you get into minute details, but it's worth the fun. There are so many airbrushes to choose from these days it'll make your head spin. Go out and find the ones that you can touch and feel and look at. You'll get a better understanding on how they feel. I'd recommend buying at the LHS if you have one. Keep them in business. I will not deny that you can get a great deal on the internet for airbrushes too. Most times at the cost of what the LHS pays for them. Or go the route of the Craft stores. Hobby Lobby carries Paasche and Iwata while Michael's carries Badger. In the end the decision is ultimately yours. You have to realize what you'll be using it for and how often. To me, how the airbrush feels was a big factor in my decision. Cleaning it may take some time but once you get it down it goes pretty smooth as well as gives you an opportunity to check all the little things on it. Good Luck! Chris

Andrew, right on about the C6R. I loved hearing them roar by the cameras during the ALMS events. I can only imagine that thunder goes right through your chest! Chris

Another fine group for 2009. Nice nice stuff Marcos! Chris

I've always enjoyed the Ferrari 312 engine sound. If it had to be a street car the Porsche Carrera GT really grabs me hard. I was able to see and hear one this past summer and it was unbelievable. Even over the Lamborghini's sounds the GT was beautiful sounding. Chris
