  1. Mike, I guess I should have reread that. You are correct, the wheel center is photo-etch and the outer rim is aluminum. I was looking at the very center of the wheel, disc, thinking that was what he was asking as it is turned aluminum. Sorry about that. Chris
  2. They are aluminum. Chris
  3. I must echo all the comments. Great start on quite possibly one of the coolest Rods ever. You're really exercising that brain of yours. Way to look outside the box! Chris
  4. Here ya go Ben: Mr. Model Chris
  5. John, don't give up hope yet. They've been quietly asking questions on these Bronco's. With the measurements and photo's taken there is a good possibility they could issue it as a 1/24 kit. Although the RC crawler body came out people have been begging them to bring it out in plastic. Will it happen? No idea, but emailing them your interest or hitting their message board can't hurt. It's a shame that those early Bronco's haven't been in plastic. I certainly think it would be a big seller. I know I'd have to have a couple. Chris

    Slick! Chris
  7. I have to echo Dave's comments. Really nice quality stuff. Here is a set of the kick wheels I bought. Chris
  8. Great work Jay! Looks great. Chris
  9. Another stunning build of a stunning car. You never cease to amaze Alex. I'm more impressed with the BMF work. Smoothest I've seen. Chris
  10. Thanks Bob. As I looked at the ZR1 pictures again I wondered if it really would be out first half as it looks like it is pretty well along. You are right though, Revell has been surprising with getting stuff out as of the last year or so. Here we thought that when the new owners took over it was the end of Revell. Thankfully not so. Although they have made some stuff I don't care for it has been very nice stuff coming out. Chris
  11. The Targa definitely has the right look. Although the side shot you have of the spider looks great. Once you get up top though it looks cobbled together. The Targa reminds me of the Jalpa's(Silhoutte) too. Voted Targa. Chris
  12. Since they are in test shot phase and slated for first half of 2010 I would suspect we won't see them until the end of 2010. The very back half. Revell's system of releasing kits changes all the time. No one will be able to give you a specific date on when it will be released. But if Revell is anything like it has been you can expect delays. Chris
  13. Tommy, beautiful builds! Love that Evolution though. That has a heck of a look. Thanks for convincing me to buy one! LOL Chris
  14. Congrats! That is some nice stuff and well rounded builds. Chris

  16. Moebius has always been a little out of the norm in my opinion. They have been offering things no one else has to fill the voids of collections, although figure wise. They've wanted to venture into the automotive market and there first three offerings while fringe are items to once again fill voids. We may not see the Lonestar in '10, but I'll bet we'll see it. Chris
  17. That looks fantastic The decals really add to the car. Colorful. Hate to hear you had to do some extra painting, but that seems to be the price we pay. I had a paint mishap yesterday that required sanding and a complete re-paint. Oh well, live and learn. Look forward to seeing it in full glory! Chris
  18. Hey Nic, thanks for posting that. I know that there is a resource out there that provides a kit to do this. This article can only help. Again, thanks for posting that. Chris
  19. SWEET! Real early test shot of the ZR1. Some cool stuff coming. Thanks Gregg! Chris
  20. Jay, that's awesome work! You'll have to clue us in to what you used to make them. Is it a kit or are you purchasing the stuff separately and following some internet link? Cool stuff though! That's the way to solve a problem. Chris
  21. That would be awesome! Thanks for posting that Nick! Chris
  22. Peter, that is beautiful!! Great work so far! Chris
  23. I was simply helping you out with another color that was made apparent. Wasn't trying to change your mind. Just offering an different option for you if you were to go that way. I'm enjoying watching you build this. I like the Porsche's of this era. Chris
  24. Right on Curtis! This has to be one of their better kits. Easy, fun and looks great just like you have proven. I see a lot of these in red. Mine, is brown! LOL Looks great and clean! Chris
  25. How'd I miss this Ismael???? It looks fantastic. Not sure why I like these Z's in yellow. Realism is really on par. Chris
