  1. http://www.hotrod.com/news/street-outlaws-justin-big-chief-shearer-and-brian-chucky-davis-crash-during-tv-filming/ Hot Rod, IIRC, Big Chief and MurderNova are friends with Finnegan and Freiberger. BTW, if anybody is interested, the Dominato Dart, Silver Unit 3rd Gen Camaro, and Dung Beetle have all made the switch to EFI w/Haltech equipment in the past 6 months. There are some decent shots of the Camaro and Beetle on Haltech Youtube channel.
  2. A week ago tomorrow night, sounds like the red Mustang from Michigan that has been on the show in the past got loose, crossed the line and caught him in the left rear, destroying both cars and putting both men in the hospital for a couple days. Both cages held up well!
  3. Just drove my 200 in the snow for the first time in the 3 years I've owned it, got home from work without bringing forth the wrath of any of it's electronic nannies!
  4. I think the Reher-Morrison Camaro could be a fantastic basis on Kye Kelly's Shocker, I swear that car looks like an 80's ProStock car.
  5. Here's a good source for The Crow and likely the MurderNova, since they're friends and business partners. http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/1507-okc-street-outlaws-justin-shearer-and-his-1972-pontiac-lemans/
  6. Funny thing about those, there were a few people on a site that had information for the Dajiban stuff that thought these vans were mid engined, instead of extremely cab forward. Oh, I did pick up one of these kits the other night and one of the wheels was a short shot, so the parts missing Revell easybuild SRT Challenger kit I got for the steering wheel will be donating at least it's wheels and mirrors to this kit.
  7. I've had that conversation lately with a friend looking for new monster truck stuff as well as a customer looking for monster figure kits........the market on the trucks isn't what it was when he and I were kids, same with the guy looking for the figures vs when he was a kid.
  8. For some reason, the front end screams Dart to me, but it does look better than the Miata!
  9. The abovenis meant to go along with Greg's post.
  10. http://thegarage.jalopnik.com/how-ups-screwed-a-popular-youtube-car-guy-out-of-10-00-1738255686
  11. We got those in yesterday at work, as has been said, it's the old kit that can be built either way, not sure what wheels it has either, got no interest in the kit and don't plan on buying it.
  12. Here's the carnage, apparently it was done by a 50 something y/o woman with her elderly mother in her fairly nice car I'm just happy it wasn't her Challenger, with the doors and quarter panels each being a mile long then in the harder to match Plum Crazy/Purple-licious than the simple, basic black my 200 is painted.
  13. My Sister borrowed my 200 to the grocery store andsomebody's door hit my rear D/S door right at the character line that runs from the headlights to the taillights, then once she got her groceries i her car, she hopped in here car and split!
  14. I wouldn't expect even remotely Shelby-Ford money for anything he did in conjunction with Chrysler, outside of the Viper if it's truly going to be going away. It would be more of a rare piece of Chrysler and Shelby history that needs to be saved.
  15. It's been reissued as Dom's Charger with the Fast and Furious licensing in the last decade or so.
  16. If it's legit, get it and fix it, there's few real Shelby Cars that you'll find for that cheap, then if it's #1, that makes it a piece of Chrysler history too!
  17. We use the lawn mower with the bag attachment, we get plenty of leaves with 3 large trees in the back yard.
  18. Dad wanted a Stihl or Husquavarna (sp?), but those weren't available, so he went with something called Poulson Pro 50cc. We got it done as the sun went down.
  19. Not really, but shouldn't a brand new piece of machinery be able to keep up with a 70+ y/o man and his overweight, slightly gimpy, middle aged kid?! Dad went to get another chain, but we won't be able to finish until Tuesday.
  20. Dad and I are cutting the bushes out from in front of the house, and the chainsaw he bought yesterday already needs a new chain and we still have the last half of bush #11 (the last one) left.........
  21. Gotta customer who's been looking for anything and everything Leaf Spring Monster Truck he can find to restore and recreate models he built as a child, he would probably be all over that Datsun if he could find one!
  22. After all the stupid stuff that I saw, and nearly hit, last winter, I put a Mobius Action Cam (no relation to the model company) on Layaway at work then ordered up a suction cup mount to hang it in the Jeep and 200 and ever since then, I keep seeing stupid People Tricks, Motorist Edition..............Tonight though, takes the cake! It started raining maybe an hour or so before my store closed tonight so I drove home on wet roads. I pulled up to a stop light and saw a Dodge Caliber with the back end severely damaged and a plastic tarp over the hatch glass (or where it's supposed to be). Then when the light turned green, the older Ford Escape behind it kept the same, non existent spacing between the two while accelerating at the same, nearly non-existant, rate, so I looked closer and noticed the lack of front lighting and bumper as well as that the back of the Caliber wasn't lit in any way...................the guys in the wrecked Caliber were FLAT TOWING the Escape with said Caliber
  23. I saw it on Jalopnik earlier today on my lunch break.
  24. This is weird, Chrysler built this for SEMA this year and is exactly what I thought of with that Liberty Walk kit, minus the T/A hood I failed to mention.
  25. I like the ones on the purple one, another one to look at is the set from Liberty Walk, not a fan of their supercar stuff, but their Challenger ones look fantastic! Here's what the Liberty Walk kit looks like on an airbagged Hellcat Challenger. Were it mine, I'd probably do it to a used R/T or SRT with a little bit smaller diameter rim, a tire with a bit more sidewall, and maybe some sort of mild drop or coilovers.
