I don’t get the argument that it’s deviating from “stock” when no stock car has TBI any more let alone a carb, no stock car has a 4speed auto let alone manual any more, GM stopped using that rear suspension design in their trucks before I was born 44 years ago and most vehicles outside of some economy FWD cars or most pickups have moved away from a solid rear axle, lots of cars use composite materials and have for much of my life, most vehicles have some form of aero tuning, be it for downforce or mileage as well as wind noise, outside of basic trucks, it’s rare to find a new vehicle with as much sidewall as NASCAR or F1 use and unless it’s some tiny, lightweight economy car, it’s hard to fine a new vehicle with 15” rims, let alone 13”.
