Here's his IMDb page, mentions it in here, one time role on in '66 as a "crewman". https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0326091/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Here’s the Wiki page for him. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Goldsmith

Turns out early in his career, he was also the only actor to and play a “Red Shirt” on the original series that did not die on the show!

Still working from home here, thought it would be done with O/T but call volume picked back up. Dad got the stuff to replace the rotten sections on fence between outlet back yard and the neighbor’s to our south. I helped Dad a little after work let night and apparently he got my BiL to come over to help with all but one panel today while I was working (the library he and my Sister work for is closed until June, so there has been lots of Mommy and Daddy-Daughter time lately for them) and got all but 1 panel up and we need to get the broken post out of the ground first before we finish the last panel section.

Wanna bet the only one to survive is “The Most Interesting Man in the World” too?! ?

What Did You Get Today? (Not Model Related)
Joe Handley replied to LOBBS's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Pricing isn’t bad, these were $109.99 each and licensed versions are $119.95, and it doesn’t matter if you get the Jeep Wrangler 4dr (JL) or ‘68 Chevy C10. Should like up nicely with the 1/20 scale Lindberg truck kits too, this one is dead on for their ZJ Grand Cherokee kit? -

I think these are heavily inspired by the Scout and 1st gen Bronco, in a “not enough to get sued by Ford or International” sort of way? -
Lol, especially the Red Shirts?

What Did You Get Today? (Not Model Related)
Joe Handley replied to LOBBS's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Got these in today, just not sure if they would be considered “models” since they’re about 1/24 scale and semi compatible with 1/20 and 1/25-1/24 scale light truck kits? I ordered them nearly a month ago and they just arrived today. They’re Axial Racing SCX24 kits with the generic “Deadbolt” truck body. They offer this with a 4dr JL Wrangler body and ‘67 or ‘68 Chevy C10 body, but this was $10 less per truck due to not being licensed, which is good for about 2/3 the price of the extra packs I ordered for the trucks? I then got Dad to play with the one I bought him? I finally got the chance to play with mine after work, and trip to Farm&Fleet where I picked up those tubs (Rubbermade ones too!), then dinner, then bringing the tubs in from the Dad’s van and shooting more night pics of the 200........guess it was a busy night, tonight, huh?! -
I’m more like +/- 6 months myself and my hair grows pretty quick at times too!

I have considered taking electric clippers to my head, right now I don’t have to be back in the office until June, might as well give myself a buzz cut and let it grow back from there?

Hobby Lobby re-opening
Joe Handley replied to Mike999's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
If it were stand alone stores or even franchises like Hobby Town, I could see that, but HL is a chain, like Michaels and Best Buy, I doubt the managers likely don’t have that much autonomy. -
Hobby Lobby re-opening
Joe Handley replied to Mike999's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I figured it was more of a “Fine, I’ll take my hall and go home then!” type tantrum since Michaels is doing curbside pickup, like Best Buy, not sure why HobbyLobby couldn’t have tried to go for that too. Keep in mind, in areas that decided to open against the advice of medical experts, Chic-Fil-A joined other drive through chains and franchises in keeping their dinning rooms closed until safe. I don’t agree with some of their stances, but I’m more than willing to give them credit on that move! -
They ended up selling the TP for cost per roll as well as provided for friends and family before then. I have a camera I haven’t used in ages due to my Galaxys as it was......this won’t help that any! See, now I would have thought that was taken on an overcast day, not nearly dark! This camera is amazing, couldn’t believe how good it does in low light. Funny thing too, Dad has been waiting for the iPhone 12 to drop so he can replace his 6 and has kinda been chomping at the bit prior to buying my phone, so needless to say, he’s wanting the 12 more than ever and I don’t think pics like ours will help this, especially now that the release has been delayed a month or more due to Covid 19!

I was going playing around with the camera on my new iPhone since it supposed to take great night pics. Well, I was not expecting this! Shot this at 8:25pm with no flash as the sun was nearly set in the west with the cars being pointed east for reference. Then I shot all these after 10pm last night, no flash once again and the lighting from the houses and moon being the only light sources other than the 200’s running lights when I tried with those on. Keep in mind, I haven’t edited these in any way, only posting them here and on my Instagram just like they are here!

Just be careful with that order Snake, don’t want to make the same mistake this lady did? https://www.techtimes.com/articles/247953/20200311/covid-19-australian-family-accidentally-orders-2-300-rolls-of-toilet-paper-amid-coronavirus-fuelled-shortage.htm

police cars with Air the 70's
Joe Handley replied to 1930fordpickup's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The C&NW made the same discovery with A/C on their trucks, increased the resale value no matter how hard the trucks got hammered on while on the job, especially when combined with a good detail job! -

Over the years I've built some strange stuff........
Joe Handley replied to Pete J.'s topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Here’s an odd one I was working on a while back, a chopped and section GMC A-Team Van channeled over 2 C-5 Vette chassis, Like Jay Leno’s ‘66 Olds Toronado......just minus all the boost! And my concept drawing for it. -
It’s some sort of odd way of teaching, not sure about other subjects, but the basic math side seems like a bit much on the test side. I’ve seen something about how they require extra steps to get the correct answers for tests. The example I’ve seen, say that the math test asks what 5x3 and 3x5 both equal, but just answering 15 is not the right answer, even though both do equal 15. The correct answers supposedly are as follows; 5x3=5+5+5=15 while 3x5=3+3+3+3+3=15 sounds like it’s “show your work or fail”?

Isn’t that pic from Herbie goes to Monte Carlo?

Hobby Lobby re-opening
Joe Handley replied to Mike999's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sounds like they’re opening again in areas where they can get away with it, all the store by me are closed, but when I checked Iowa, only about half the stores in the state were open right now. -
Turns out the Acura they pulled the running gear from uses the 5x4.5" bolt pattern that Ford, Chrysler, and AMC used for years, so they threw a drag radial and Weld Wheel sized for a Mustang and/or Crown Vic on it......lets just say that was A TIGHT fit and would likely get sliced wide open under power! There may be 1/4 mile action in it's future, but it was built to be a burnout/donut car!

Maybe if that GT50% was build from something like this? https://www.instagram.com/p/B_ApUuWJZK5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link and they’ve added more power since then!
