  1. The weather sucks lately and I can't paint, so I started working on the part I hate doing, the interior. I'm trying to push myself to do more than just weathered models so I'm going to try & do a nice interior & paint on this one. I'm using both old & new parts with some scratch building. This is what I've done so far, not much but it's a start.
  2. 12 inches of snow.?
  3. Great job so far. I'm kinda partial to these old Fords, my first car was a 65 Fairlane with a 289. Fun car until I wrecked it. Anyway, nice build, great details, I'm watching for sure.
  4. I've been working on this old glue bomb of a 69 Scrambler. It had 3 layers of paint (brushed on) and the thing is so brittle it keeps breaking apart. I'm using an AMT Pro street 66 Nova chassis. I had to lengthen the frame a little to get the wheelbase right. I need to figure out an engine for it, I really don't want to use the Nova engine. Anyway, this is what I have so far.
  5. Great thread! Here's a couple from the eighties. Pretty rough but I'll still keep um just because.
  6. Thanks for lookin guys. Great stories! One quick video I took.
  7. My kids all got together and treated my wife & I to KISS at Madison Square Garden last night for a Christmas gift. I've been a big fan for years and have seen them 5 or 6 times but this is "SUPPOSED TO BE" the end of the tour, we'll see. I have to say it was a GREAT show and a great time but I HATE driving in the city. I'm a New Yorker, born & raised here but not from the city. I'm a little more than 2 hours North. I live on a gravel road in the woods so that City driving kills me. Anyway, there is 1 more show tonight so if anyone is going, enjoy it and I hope it's a blast!
  8. Been working on this old glue bomb of a 69 Scrambler. It had 3 layers of paint (brushed on) and the thing is so brittle it keeps breaking apart. I'm planning on using an AMT Pro street 66 Nova chassis if I can ever get the body fixed.
  9. I finished this one a while back. I hope it's ok to post it here.
  10. Great job! It looks just right. You should add it to this other topic too.
  11. Amazing build! glad to see you back at it.
  12. Great looking trucks. I haven't been to that fair since I was a kid but I usually go to the car show they have in May. Great show & I always come home with a model or 2 from the swap meet. Thanks for sharing!
  13. I always wanted to get one of these kits to build one like I saw at a local show years ago. Maybe one day.
  14. I think that this has to be the nicest stock built Model A I've ever seen. Great job!
  15. WOW, that's looking really nice. What did you start with for a base model? I've been looking for one of these for a long time now. I want to build one of my fathers 1:1 79 Ranchero.
  16. Thanks Mark Thanks Rusty Thanks Chris Thanks Chuck Thanks Carl
  17. Thanks Bob Thank you Doyle Thanks Samuel Thanks David Thank you Donato
  18. Built from the parts box. There is a WIP to check out some of the build progress.
  19. How about a real spare tire, or any spare tire. My mother in law's Jeep Compass only has an air compressor you plug into the cigarette lighter, I mean the phone charger socket or whatever they call it today.
