  1. Since I can't seem to finish anything lately, I would say 1. Yup, 1 is too many.
  2. I got one of these from Ollies and really didn't want or need it, but it's a cheap model, so you know you HAVE TO BUY IT. I liked that it was a T style body but it looks a little too cartoonish to me so I figured a C cab would look better. I couldn't leave the engine alone either so I went for an old Model A Ford instead because, well why not. Here's what I got mocked up so far.
  3. One of my favorites...
  4. Any updates? I'm loving this thread.
  5. Looks great, I hope to see more soon.
  6. Great job on the weathering! Nicely done model, thanks for sharing.
  7. I just want to say thank you to everyone who "reacted" to this post too. THANK YOU!
  8. My take on the Milk Trike. Using a Model A Ford engine & turning into a c bab, hopefully.
  9. Thanks again guys. Definitely a good slump buster, because I haven't really been doing anything model related in a while.
  10. Thanks everyone for all the great comments. It's funny, when I built this, I was looking at it as junk first then restored but it makes more sense the way everyone is seeing it. I guess I'm just used to being around junk more than nice cars.
  11. Just a quick curb side build. I built this for a local car club to raffle off at their next show. I couldn't figure out if I wanted to build one of my usual weathered builds or something nice, so I did both on one kit. I'm sure this has been done before but it's a first for me. It was a fast fun build.
  12. That's what I did with my old built up 60 & 63 ford trucks. I had 3 60s & 2 63s, I got enough out of them to buy a bunch of these wreckers.
  13. Rhinebeck NY car show Saturday finds. Nothing over $5.
  14. Great build! I can't wait to see the diorama with it. Kind of a Newish take on the old Diamond in the rough kit.
  15. I'm pretty impressed with the detail on the chassis & engine. I just might get one.
  16. Here's another setup I'd like to recreate.
  17. These things were everywhere around here when I was a kid, pretty much everyone had one. We had one that dad cut firewood with, the neighbor had one mounted on the back of an old 39 Chevy. My father is rebuilding a Model T one right now. They definitely look terrifying by today's standards, you definitely want to be careful and not get distracted when it's going. I can still hear dad saying, NO LOOSE CLOTHING, BUTTON YOUR SLEEVES & TUCK IN YOUR SHIRT!
  18. Yesterday...
  19. Here's one I did long ago that is literally "Power by Ford" A Model A Ford power unit.
  20. Wow, I would definitely be interested in one. I was wondering when someone would do this.
  21. Thanks for sharing Bill, I'll be using this info for sure. I need to finish my Lincoln I started years ago.
