  1. The only option I have to "download" them is to right click the photo and "Save image as..." All I am getting are the reduced size versions. The access I have is limited, I can see the photo but it is in a cropped frame with no option to view it full size. There are a lot of photos!
  2. Unfortunately, yes.
  3. If you want a thread/post removed. Use the report function located in the thread/post and a moderator will take care of it for you. Unfortunately, we had to take the option away from everyone because a few members were posting offensive rants, leaving them up for a short period of time and then deleting them before a moderator could see them.
  4. I had been working with Harry's son, Gary, for sometime now to get access to the model photos on Harry's Photobucket. He, understandably, would not grant me control of the whole account because there are also personal photos stored there. I can get into it to see the majority of the model photos, but there is no option to download them. I can only get the links to embed them, which doesn't help us. Gary had agreed to leave the photos in place so as not to break any of the links, so we were good right up until Photobucket changed their terms. I am still trying to see what I can work out.
  5. It will when your current subscription renews. They are obligated to provide the service you have paid for. They more than likely will not offer that package when it is time for your renewal.
  6. Please, lets not open up the copyright can of worms here.
  7. Jim - Look at the paperclip, at the bottom left, when you are typing a post. It gives you the options available to load photos. I think you can only position them below your text.
  8. I use Firefox and have not had that issue. I feel these problems are always a combination of computer, programs, sites and just plain luck. A lot of things happen between our computers and the servers that the sites we visit are located on. There are also a variety of equipment that the data must pass thru.
  9. My gut says it is legit. I guess it will not affect me until my plan renews in March 2018, I checked and I have the old 20 Plus account. I used to have an Unlimited account which might explain why I have about 15GB in a 20GB account and it says I am only using 0.10% of my storage space. Those guys are clearly not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
  10. Within 2-3 years you will be paying Facebook as well. That is the master plan.
  11. Then what is photo linking? Photobucket seems to consider these two different things.
  12. What exactly is 3rd Party Image Hosting?
  13. I got the same thing.
  14. Welcome Jeff. Looking forward to seeing your models.
  15. Go to your profile and click in the little square on the bottom left corner where the generic avatar photo is. You will then be given the option to upload a photo. There are photo and file size restrictions, they need to be small. Hope that helps.
  16. I think the fact that Barrett-Jackson (and others) have so many auctions now, that the big spenders are very selective of which events they attend. There were also deals in the automobilia auction (just not for the Porsche sign).
  17. Steve-There is a Hobby Lobby in Leesburg just off of 28 that may be a bit closer for you. I was in Hobby Hanger maybe a month ago, I believe there were maybe 10 car kits on the shelf and half the paint rack was empty. They did have an entire row of aviation models and like you said, there is a lot of R/C stuff.
  18. This was only the second one (out of, I don't know how many) that I have gotten correct. I think my average has gone up by 0.23%.
  19. Looking forward to seeing this one finished. Worst thing that can happen is the paint gets messed up and the body takes a purple bath. I don't sweat painting or BMF anymore. I can always fix what doesn't come out to my liking. It is only semi-permanent.
  20. Our office places online orders monthly. Generally, the orders are delivered the next day. It is hard to see how the stores remained operational this long. A lot of square footage is taken up by items that are only needed occasionally. How often do you go through a package of pens or pencils. How often do you need a new desk or another 3-ring binder. It is a sign of the times (unfortunately). Just like in the hobby business, consumers are shifting towards online purchases.
  21. I was looking at that one as well JC. That would be a handful.
  22. They hope that you also buy paint and supplies at full retail. We are generally cheap and get just the one item.
  23. It is a unique vehicle. I would have to see one in person to decide if it is ugly.
  24. You can purchase them on Amazon. Cost varies by color and vendor.
