  1. Very nice. Makes me want to add these to my wish list of future builds.
  2. I have learned to just take it slow and easy. Give things time to dry and you will be much happier with the results. I really like these older Vettes. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
  3. Fine detail that should show very well with this model.
  4. Thanks so much for the info. Doesn't have to be exactly like the photo, just looking for a vintage ramp truck to display some cars when I get them done. I just really like the look of 30's thru 40's trucks.
  5. Amazon has this line listed. No grays or blacks. Purple was the darkest color.
  6. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
  7. Thanks Rusty. I will see about fixing the frame color issues. I did the tops of the shocks blue only to provide a little more contrast, hoping they could be seen a bit easier when the body is on.
  8. Chassis is nearly complete. I have to fiddle with one of the exhaust pipes to get it to line up with the manifold. I may try my hand at weathering, to break up the undercarriage flaws, as mentioned previously. I also undertook the daunting task of applying decals to the body. I found that chore to be a bit nerve wracking, but in the end I am happy with the result. Just waiting on another shade of paint so I can do the two-tone interior. BTW - OptiVisor is the greatest invention ever.
  9. I just looked at some photos and it does look like they could be from the Muster Koach.
  10. I think you nailed it! Thanks for sharing.
  11. In the Aftermarket/Resin section, pinned at the top, is a list of companies and individuals that make and sell parts. You can also search eBay for older vintage parts.
  12. Excellent! That is the solution we were looking for.
  13. Are there any kit versions of old ramp trucks similar to this?
  14. You are limited when you upload photos directly to the site. You can use larger photos if you host them on a site like Photo Bucket. They have a FREE program and I believe the PRO is only $25 per year. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use it, if you are interested.
  15. It looks like you pull the lever for the fire suppression system. It seems to be positioned within reach of the driver.
  16. From what I have read from other threads/posts, if the windows are curved, and you need to use a lot of putty to make the curve, be sure to use the correct putty. Some draws tight when drying and can pull your filler panel out or loose. Just something I remember reading recently, not something I have experience with.
  17. This one is complete and made it to the Under Glass section. I am glad I decided to take up modeling again. It is very satisfying. I am actually aiming to complete everything I start, no matter how it turns out. Back in my youth, I would put everything back in the box if I messed something up. Now I try to figure out how to fix my mistakes. I am getting a lot of practice.
  18. I just wish Round2 would let us know what tools they have.
  19. The only thing I don't like about big signatures like that, is the amount of space it takes up and the extra scrolling I have to do.
  20. Nice. If I saw that that place while out for a drive, I would stop to buy something.
  21. They do need to level the playing field a bit more. I would like to see it where anyone can win. 99% of the time it is going to be between 4 or 5 drivers.
  22. In extreme cases, you can go to 1:1 car parts suppliers, like Year One, for the correct paint. They do charge a premium though. That is where I got the correct turquoise color for the big block in one of my '67 Chargers.
  23. You cannot block individual signatures, it is all or nothing. I believe you can ignore individuals and will no longer see some or all of their posts. Have never used it, so not sure what the options are.
