  1. I don't think I posted this yet here. So here's a bunch of photos. It's a 1/24 resin kit, they just don't go together like a Tamiya kit. The 1/1 car: The model: In primer: Here's the interior. These 1/24 resin kits just don't have the detail of Tamiya kits. But I think it will look nice when finished. There were no decals for any of the instruments. Now here's the body freshly painted It has Mr. Finishin Surfacer 1500 White primer, I used Scale Finishes Aston Martin 5183D Sterling Green with Testor's Clear glosscoat. So what your seeing is unpolished straight from the airbrush, a Grex Tritium TS3.
  2. Looks like good advice for QAnon followers.
  3. This news story: 2 men convicted of stealing $2,095 of stuff from Kohl's argued for lesser charges because there was a sale and they had coupons https://www.businessinsider.com/kohls-thieves-argued-sale-items-should-lead-to-lesser-charges-2023-12
  4. Here's the box art: I painted it Testors Blue Angel Blue which looks pretty close to those old colors. I replaced the molded glass with flat sheet windows. The kit was missing the metal axles but I had a piece of music wire that was the right diameter to cut new axles.
  5. I was watching a Babylon 5 rerun on Tubi and recently saw him in an episode.
  6. I used to live on LI. I remember Motion Performance, it was quite a famous speed shop. I remember I used to see those Phase III Corvettes, Camaros, etc. and the hood bulges I used to see all over the place.
  7. Yeah, I liked him. I recently saw him on the old Outer Limits episodes (It's on the Roku channel). RIP.
  8. I heat mine up with a hair dryer. Sometimes I still need to use one of those bottle gripper pads too. I try not to use a plyers on the lid because I don't want to deform it.
  9. I pretty much paint parts the same way. The only time I'll leave them attached to the parts tree is if they are attached in places you will never see once it's assembled.
  10. I use a tape I found at work. I don't know what they use it for here, I don't think it's for masking. It's a Teflon tape, not like plumber's tape. It's adhesive backed, not too strong or too weak. It's translucent so I can really see if it's stuck down good. And it's quite pliable. I lay it down on a piece of glass and cut off strips about 1/8" or so wide. It bends around inside and outside curves real well. And it's got a clean, sharp edge.
  11. Yeah, I do that.
  12. Really nice build. I once had to do that with painting a model, only it was a 1/43re resin kit. I knew the decals would never work and it was really easier to mask and paint. However the masking and painting job that you had to do for this model was more difficult.
  13. Good build. Mine is cloaked so you can't see it.?
  14. That's a nice, clean build.
  15. That's just a real killer diorama!?
  16. I remember that. I'm in the ACME club and knew Chip. I'm probably on that stage too but not in the picture frame.
  17. That's really good! I like the way you have the water pouring out of the mouth too!
  18. Looks fantastic. I built a Pocher Bugatti Type 50T in 1982.
  19. Really nice build!
  20. Looks like a nice build. I built one of those but I converted it to an R/T.
