  5. Have to agree Bill, what a Glorious kit! MFH posted this notice on their website ... “Please note that our license contract with Ferrari will be terminated by the end of December 2018. We hope to have your continual support for our products in the future.” 2018.11.20 Model Factory Hiro Guess that means this one will be the last new MFH Ferrari kit for some time
  6. Very nice build! Love the Evo
  7. Thanks! Paint mess was good experience for future projects for sure. Hood fitment is a problem on my kit as well, will have to find a good place to hide magnets under the hood lol
  8. Awesome build! love cutaway models
  9. Wow thanks! What did you use for the master mold? And is that your black 507 build? Looks awesome. Revell really should have made the knock offs for this kit
  10. These knockoffs look perfect! I think I came across this die cast model while searching for possible replacement wheels. I was prepared to buy a 1/24 507 diecast just for the wheels but couldn’t find any at the right scale. Thanks for the ref pics tho. The car does look so much better with the knock offs imo!
  11. Excellent work almost there Dann! Ur Gonna need a photo album to show all the detailing on this build when done haha
  12. Not quite the wheels I was going for. Wanted something closer to the Rudge knock-offs on the Mercedes Gullwing.
  13. Awesome build. All that detailing is great
  14. Hi all, Progress has been really slow and I've been lazy posting WIP pics, but nearing completion! I originally was going to go with a dark metallic grey color but changed my mind at the last minute and sprayed MCW mint green metallic. I messed up the body and had to strip and re-paint which added to my delays. Used 99.9% alcohol to get the paint off, but had to sand the primer off as it wouldn't budge at all. Here is the re-painted body with clear coat. Still need to polish I added some detailing to the interior with sticky-backed felt sheets for the carpet mats and thin leather sheets for the trim. BMF'd the seat trim pieces and added leather handles for the door inserts. I think Revell did a nice job with the chrome door handle and window crank Interior is pretty much done now. Used 30 gauge wire for the steering wheel trim piece. I had to cut the wheels from the 300SL kit a bit so it would fit. Just finished the wheels today. Thankfully, the plan worked out and happy with the result. The chrome outer rims where painted with Alclad Chrome. Also finished up the under carriage. Also added some detail to the engine. Replaced the carbs with Stromberg carbs I found on Shapeways and used some wire to make the fuel lines. I got the push rod ends from RB motion Wrapped some mesh around the air cleaners. Thanks for looking in!
  15. Very nice and clean build! Really like the color too
  16. Wow great build! The two tone color and bed are excellent
  17. Great idea Dann, looking forward to seeing this built!
  18. Nice clean build!
  19. Beautiful build!
  20. Headlights look awesome Alex. Nothing like peeling back masking tape to see clean paint lines- one of the more satisfying parts of modelling imo lol
