  1. That's a real beauty! Which roof did you use?
  2. I'd love to see those, Pat!!!
  3. I got back on this one. I dug some stuff from under the sink to see if it would work: This is the stock hood from the Cougar that won't be used in this build....you know....just in case it goes wrong! LOL After 1 1/2 hours, the gold paint was tacky. We'll see how it goes......
  4. There has been at least one Cheetah kit in the past:
  5. I would be inclined to click on her Facebook page to see what kinda activity is going on there.
  6. I'm liking this build! The slant six looks great! I owned a '77 Dodge Aspen SE when it was new. 360 V-8, bucket seats, T-tops. Very neat little car, except that just after the warranty expired, little nagging things started happening to it. After nearly two years, I traded it for a Li'l Red Express pickup!
  7. I certainly hope they don't go down the same path as Jo-Han!
  8. I think this is a great custom! The colors are great together. Nothing wrong with the boot cover being a different color. It accents the darker tan very well, I think! Well done on this one!
  9. I'd like to see one of these in kit form:
  10. 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I bought it in 2000, with 50,000 or so miles on it. I still have it, and it has been 321,000 miles, so far. The only major problem I've had was the transmission broke at 304,000 miles. So, I guess I really can't complain!
  11. I was referring to the Fusion and Camry.
  12. If a driver did that at the dirt track I worked at back in the late 80's, he got sent to the back of the pack, no matter how much money he had. The driver I worked for got sent to the back twice that season! LOL
  13. I think they may have listened too much to whiny drivers, whiny owners, and whiny manufacturers. I'd like to see it get back to actual Stock car racing, not a front wheel drive car with an axle in the back!
  14. Very much interested in this build! I owned one of these when they were new. Not my photo, but the '77 AMX I had was exactly like this one.
  15. Visited the local HL store (in north Alabama) last night. No mark-down pricing to be seen.
  16. That's a beautiful tow truck! So well done!!
  17. The Honcho kit I'm working on has a taillight panel that is too wide for the rear end of the bed. It should be an easy fix. I'd rather it be too wide than too narrow! I haven't tried the interior tub, to see how it fits.
  18. How's the progress on this cool Jeep?
  19. That is one cool Plymouth!! Top notch!
  20. Ah...I see! lol I live in Lawrenceburg, Tn. About an hour and a half south of Nashville....close to the Alabama line!
  21. I have kits in my stash that are certainly worth more now than they were when I purchased them. However, I bought every one of them to build, at some point in time. I say, "Go for it!"
  22. Thanks, guys! KWT...where is Mayberry located in Tennessee?
  23. Welcome, Dale! I lived in Knoxville for four years in the early eighties. I visited Elizabethton several times. Very nice area. I'll bet all the hobby shops I knew of in and around Knoxville are gone, now! Looking forward to seeing your Mustang build!
  24. Thanks, guys! It's one of my favorite builds!
