    We sure don't see many "work-in-progress" threads involving Palmer kits. I have a Palmer 1966 Dodge Polara, but I haven't ripped the wrapper off, yet.

    I looked at those, too. It appears that you need self adhesive sandpaper in whatever grit you want to use, trimmed to fit the stainless sticks. Advantages might be that they are fairly thin and flexible, more so than plastic or popsicle sticks.

    If I applied Steve's level of detail to my entire stash, it would take 18 years working 24 hours a day! (I gotta trim down the pile!)

    I picked up a complete AMT Viper roadster kit at a Goodwill store a few years ago for $2.99.

    I saw this while searching for something else a few days ago. Pretty nice looking.

    I added the flex attachment to mine a few years ago. Makes it sorta like holding a fat pencil. I found I have a little more control than trying to hold the bulky part of the Dremel.
