  1. Revell, I understand your frustration, but you whipped it into shape, and FINISHED! I have a WIP in a coma, the Hasegawa kit, *had to* cut open the doors. This kit come with a complete engine?
  2. Every entry is extremely well done. The Kaiser Darrin is a favorite, good to see the classics. Glad I don't build drag or street rods, holy cow.
  3. ^^^ Couldn't have said it better myself!
  4. It's alright, I added the MFH Lusso since then, and hope to track down some other old subject models. Now *that* is a problem, finding out about kits such as made by Fernando Pinto Models, which I added to my faved list on Fakebook.
  5. I acquired this kit, so glad to see someone built it. Very nice job!
  6. GAVE YOU?!?! I did the Tyrell 6 wheel and Ferrari Niki Lauda when I was a teen, always loved the 934. Your wife is a keeper! Cool subject too.
  7. For example, I laid out this category just to get an idea of what I have. I have a running list too, that I update almost monthly now. It does become a problem if I don't do that, because I can't see all my kits due to stacking in front of other piles. *That* is a problem.
  8. After I go on a buying bing, have to re-organize. Don't think that's a *problem*, do you?
  9. I recently acquired one of those from an estate, and just looked at eBay to see .... ok ..... glad I snagged it. I happened to have filed a few pages from old catalogs, been looking for : Testors - Sportstar resin kit 473, don't think they got around to producing it, about the time Boyd died. Airfix - Maserati Boomerang Heller - Bugatti T50 1931Jaguar E Type coupe Otaki - Lamborghini Cheetah I'm not asking for much.
  10. I've had the crazy idea of kitbashing a Fujimi 356 Speedster with a 911 Turbo, so this is done for real?
  11. for Preppers, stashing
  12. Well, if you were to build that, wouldn't need to worry about a perfect shiny paint job.
  13. Good to know. LOL But compared to the C111, bet it's still better.
  14. Tough decision for me..... since this will be at the Arizona State Fair all this month, will post to bring good karma (fingers crossed).
  15. Very nice job making it realistic, the rust is not overboard and to scale. And the really cool thing, you finished it!
  16. LOL I see now! Built the 190E2.5-16, 500SEC Lorinser version. I've not seen the 230TE before, that like The Hammer? I have another DTM kit.
  17. There are other scribers, the good ones cost money, if you can even find them!
  18. Whale Oil distributorship
  19. That's a very nice job! Love the color choice. One of my favorite cars. Been thinking of getting one of these kits, to go with the other two Fujimi kits.
  20. Sharp eyes guys! That is a collectible kit made by defunct Nakamura Model Co. Ltd. that I spent more than I should have on, but I have always wanted a C111 model. It sucks as far as detail and accuracy goes, so my plan is to do a resto-rod. How much more sacrilegious can it be, to butcher the car that Mercedes never sold to the public, and then take a race car that put Mercedes won Le Mans 1-2-3 with, with a collectible model and a desirable Tamiya kit? That's my idea, just need time.
  21. SORRY NO! (rules are for breaking LOL)
