Those kits are well done, for curbsides. I built a few when they were new models. I like the bright paint, the original colors were subdued. And the really important part, you finished it! (I have two Porsches waiting for me to finish).

I've found that taking pictures is better than cross-eye squinting through a magnifying glass! Love the creative subject, this will be really nice. Have you tried Microsol or Solvaset on the dash decal?

Sorry to go rivet counter on you, but the example Revell has on the box, and the kit, are SIX slot mags. Time change to now, with the internet to find pictures, pretty much all examples I saw do have the FIVE slot mags, which was the typical number for Ansen style wheels, thus why I said they are incorrect. I got a set for my '69 Chevy pickup this summer, apparently Toyota trucks are the same bolt pattern, but 3 of mine were made by Shelby (long eBay story for another discussion) with 5 holes. Now back to the Bugatti, the coolest part is the simulated leather for the spare and seat belts!

GSL XXVII 2019, Who's gonna be there from here?...I will!

I posted the email that was sent out. To answer the topic's question, I plan to. The VW Beetle Common Kit class should be my focus, even though I have seen a certain customized variation that should scare me away. But I *have to* build the Bug that my parents owned when they were new, complete with wood skis and slushcicles. -

Don't think WOW is a strong enough word! I can only image the work, not just the actual building, but the motivation to get back into it after a decade. I've had dry spells, but usually started with something easy. Love the subject too! -
Hmmm... there must not be so damned many lawyers there. LOL cartoon.

That's one reason Group B was eliminated. If anyone wants to see pure stupidity, check out Arabia drift videos. I've worked rallies in Arizona. They restrict who gets on stage, and they make sure everyone stays back. I need to get a telephoto lens before attending more.

I feel lucky that I recently got that kit! The 240Z, I noticed the Revell kit's mags are not correct either. LOL

After watching some WRC Sweden footage, am tempted to get a Fiesta kit! I'm always amazed how balls-to-the-wall they are in Europe, and I'm including the spectators. I also came *this close* to confusing with Beemax brand, but looked at Spot Model first before posting. http://www.spotmodel.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=170

Thanks for posting pictures. Awesome job on those! I'm torn on selling, or keeping the Duesy that I acquired, now that I see one complete, may just keep it. I got the Cord because I found a great book on the car Tom Mix got killed in, lots of studio photos for reference, and he filmed some in my area.

But..... but the box says: "Certified as authentic by the Bugatti Owners Club Ltd. of England." You one of those rivet counters I hear about? That's awesome information, that would guarantee I never get it built. Just making realistic engine-turned aluminum parts would be a death wish. If I built it, looks good enough to do Box Stock, but I would strip the chrome off the wheels and paint Alclad aluminum.

I saw that too, think on my Yahoo home page. These conversions are fun project ideas. -

Really nice workmanship! The doors, I see what looks like a latch? That's a detail many of us skip. -

Not bad for a die cast, and can't beat the price! I have an AMT kit of that, have a diorama idea for it, based on a real car I knew about last century, under a tarp. -
Got to catch up on this show. Olds Cutlass 442, that was a waste! Saw the Javelin. The Matador, no love for it? I was more excited to see the '69 Chevy pickup, since I own one. Of course the '72 Chevy 4x4 is nice. Wife was like "how do you know what that is, looking through the baseball hoop?"

Very nice build! I didn't remember the luggage requirement until I built my J-car. People used to do manifold cooking, put your hot dogs on the engine before you start your trip, ready by lunch.

Hey, the mere fact that you finished it, is much more than I can say! I have stalled on my Porsche 959 Paris Dakar project, which I plan to make filthy.

That looks really good! Almost too good, needs to be dirty.
