Check out these iridescent cirrus clouds I lucked out seeing yesterday, I did bump up the saturation, at zoom plus the ancient iPhone5 struggled to get the color. It beat the sunset soon after. As of Saturday afternoon, we got the first rain, not much, but the phone app didn't show anything today, again. Still haven't used the gas furnace, or woodstove, just the sunroom. Variable forecasts about rain for the next week.

20ft Container in 1/24 from Fujimi

Not to brag or anything, but I have a 1:1 20 footer. It was only after I looked at them did I learn many are one-way, as in from China and dumped here or wherever. Thought I got all the models I wanted, but now I want this. π The door hardware, just like with model cars, looks minimal. That would be an easy scratch-build, to make working latches. π Much like with tanks and airplanes, they are serial numbered, with specifications on the door, I added the Square Feet line just because. The VIN# plate is on the left door, which is on all the numbers on each side and the top, mine is 222244. I removed all but what you see here. What I see looking at the pictures: 1. Mine has only 3 lock/latches. 2. Roof on the right. Green has the extra lock box, can see on the sprue, orange does not, easy detail to add. 3. Four lock/latches are one piece with the levers. Here is the perfect opportunity to have Photo-Etch! π€ͺ 4. Mine has 4 vents on the side, and the doors and other end. Now I see what the problem on length is, the green corners stick out. 5 - 7. Those corners are the problem all sides. 8. The bottom, they use huge forklifts .... is there a kit for one? The green one is incorrect, or not like mine. I looked and saw daylight at the other side. I blocked to keep varmits out. I don't have the wide hole opposite the doors like the orange one. 9. Perfectly illustrates the problem. They can't have different designs mixing in, the Germans proved that during WW2. Hondamatic's picture, I don't see locking hardware, so yea, this would take me forever to build. π Could also make out of aluminum newspaper printing plate (not roof flashing which breaks when bent more than once). Then you have to make the locks, and if I were a contest judge, would know where the holes are at the bottom. If you really wanted to super detail, copper wire tie downs. Yea, think I'll pass. π -

Um..... for starters I didn't even know such a thing existed. Then why would civilians need one, it wouldn't work as a Phoenix heat shield, it would blow off while driving. π€£ You would not raise any suspicion either, parked near sensitive areas. All I want is Night Vision goggles, help me out Googie AI. π₯Έ

Title: Delorean Does D.C. (because you know Washington D.C. needs these bad)

Even tho I'm not a fan of the Delorean mating with a dumpster, now I can't use that joke on this. The peak at the roof with the light bar looks right, but the Dr. Seuss LED lights on the fenders. Considering the flak over the bullet-proof windows, easy to armor. Now when will Musk give President Trump a new Beast stretched Cybertruck? π

Here is your chance to get this fabulous Ferrari GTO, the only white one, raced by the only Triple Crown winner. Does the forum allow a betting pool, like how much will it cross the block for?

You didn't build the tractor? πͺ I have that in the stash, your build should help anyone. Since you mentioned the body not fitting, I would Dremel grind the inside down. I use a bright back light which shows where it's thin. A pet peeve of mine is springs (I have a large stash of those too), so that's a great detail. Screen is a great idea. The best thing, you committed to finishing something on The Shelf Of Doom! π -

To get away from Irks hanging around the house, I went on a rock hound mission. π This stretch had so many rocks I am always looking for, sometimes I could stand in one spot and pick up a handful. I wasted time on another road, pleased I took this one again but the other direction. The wash (what we in Arizona call a dry river bed) was perfect for driving on, to a point, and pleased I did not get stuck. This spot has big nice purple and green rocks. Pleased that Blue Cloud didn't run out of gas, and that I can still see, scramble and bend okay. π Last night at the Prescott Antique Auto Club meeting, pleased to see that my Fakerri got it's picture in the newspaper.

Mid to high 70s today, clouds dissipated during the day, mixed with controlled burn smoke. Harvested more purple and green rocks for the yard. As I was driving this road, all I could think was what a killer rally stage this would be. π Forecast for rain moved out, and reduced.

Thank you very much for dredging this up! π The pictures I took for reference, the owner had two rough ones. I recently saw them, sold them. What they had at the cruise was a Woodie. -

I have this kit in the stash, and have built a Fujimi kit. I also owned an '03 S, and I sure don't recall leather seats looking like that! It was a fun car. Came out nice, Tamiya matches the Chili Red.

I posted too soon for today, clear sky meant I could see the Aurora space weather! Lousy iPhone5 shot, saw nice pictures on Fakebook which got me to look.

I don't know much about motorhomes, but I remember these roaming around. That's awesome. Yea I take pictures during a WIP just to find flaws, just admit it and use as a tool. You must have taken a bunch of reference photos? And measurements? Drawings? I have a resin Futureliner from a GSL to do something with, this would be one idea. What did the chassis start as?

More boring clear skies and t-shirt weather for the Veterans Parade in Prescott, that is the Prescott Antique Auto Club's firetruck. Depends on who, the forecast is possible snow by Friday (3 days) or at least a change in weather. I plan on having a fire in the backyard firepit for that. Maybe wash the car.
