I thought that was a gorgeous paint job even before seeing the outdoor pics and was blown away even more by those. Absolutely stunning build in every way.

That is some amazing detail on that engine, and incredible craftsmanship on the seat and rollcage. Definitely need to see this one when finished.

Nice job on the Hurst/Olds, it looks great. Those two look great together.

The Olds looks awesome, and the paint job is top notch. The TS-60 Pearl Green looks great on that car, I'm doing a '62 Corvette Roadster that I painted the exact same color and I really like it.

Nice color and a great start. Color looks amazingly close to the Testors Arctic Blue Metallic enamel from the can that I used for my Revell "67 Chevelle.

I'll be working on that same kit this winter. That is if I can get the paint right on it. Just got done stripping the first attempt. I look forward to seeing progress pics when you get the photo issue resolved.

I'm liking the color. Nice job on the engine so far. This kit looks awfully similar to the Foose kit that I finished earlier this summer, with maybe the only differences being the wheels/tires and decals, at least that's the impression I am getting by the box art side panel. It should go together pretty well, and I can't wait to see it finished.

Yeah, you guys in the south have to deal with high humidity quite a bit. I have the 5 of these ready to go plus I just added a '66 Shelby Mustang to the winter docket, although I have to strip and re-paint it after botching the paint last week. 12 is definitely a pretty lofty goal to get done.

I see that a lot of modelers can and will paint during the cold months in Northern U.S. and Canada, as they will spray the car and then immediately bring it back inside. However, for me to do that seems very tedious to take the body and parts outside, spray said items and then bring back inside a number of times until all the coats are sprayed on. I also have a wife and son that are sensitive to the smells of the paint and gives them headaches, so I spray in my shed and leave out there to dry, so temps in the 0's, teens, and twenty's would not be conducive to painting. Perhaps sometime in the future when I can obtain an airbrush, I can start using craft paints and solve my little problem. It also kind of sucks when I get some inspiration on a build and can't start it because it's too cold to paint. We'll also see if I actually get all of these built, too .

I'm using the frame that has the fenders and running boards molded onto it. It would be identical to the other frame included in the kit if the fenders and running boards were to be removed. Doesn't seem like there's much there for either frame, but it also seems like a cheaper kit so that might explain it. I just hope it goes together without too many issues. I hope to get started on it sometime next week, if I do I will post updates in the "On the Workbench" section.

Very sharp AMX. Nice job. I agree, you don't see too many of these in either model world or real world.

Looking great so far. Nice detailing of the interior. The engine/engine compartment detailing is top notch as well as the chassis being some of the better weathering I have seen. I envy you guys that have the dexterity and patience to do brake/fuel lines on these things. It's all I can do to put on plug wires, although I am going to try battery cables and heater hoses soon and that will most likely be the extent of the smaller details for me. Super job on molding the headlight/turn signal lenses too. I really like the color, bummer about the fender but nice save. Can't wait to see this one done.
