  1. Looks good, very nicely done. I've got a Panther Pink one in the works myself.
  2. Thanks for the compliments guys, it means a lot.
  3. Very sharp builds. All nicely done and very crisp and clean.
  4. This is my second completed kit after about 22 years away from the hobby. Revell Foose Firebird kit, Testors Lime Ice one coat lacquer for the color. Pretty decent kit over all, had to use some clothespin ingenuity overnight to hold the body to the chassis and one of the taillights looks funky due to a mold issue that I made a little worse (lesson learned). Was actually the first body that I used bare metal foil on, the second engine that I did plug wires on, and I tried my hand at LED headlights on this one for the first time. Outside of the taillight I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out.
  5. Thanks for all the compliments guys, it means a lot. Google is great for referencing little details like tach and clock placement. This was actually the second car that I used bare metal foil on, I did the Foose Firebird, this Chevelle and a 1969 Camaro Z28 in a span of 4 or 5 days. I had dreams about the stuff for a couple of nights after that, Lol.
  6. Looks great, nice job. Love these old Firebirds and Trans Ams.
  7. Looks awesome. Very nice paint job, beautiful wheels, and nice detailing especially the engine. Diggin' the taillights too. Looks like the real thing, great job.
  8. Finally finished it. First kit after 22 years away from the hobby. Done in Testors Arctic Blue Metallic enamel spray can. Most detail I have ever done on a model including first time bare metal foil and plug wires.
  9. Thanks, it's testors Arctic Blue Metallic enamel in the spray can.
  10. Thanks. Yeah it was. Got it in 1988 bone stock, lost it in a house fire that started in the garage in 1998. Had a 383 stroker and built 350 trans. It was a great car and still one of my favorite body styles.
  11. Another great '60's GM car. Is that your car as your Avatar ? I had an SS also, great cars. Yeah it was. Bought it in bone stock in 1988, lost it in a house fire that started in garage in 1998. Had a 383 stroker in it, built th350 trans, and my brother did the paint.
  12. Thanks, I got a bottle of Model Masters Pontiac Engine Blue Metallic at my local hobby shop last year. My bottle is watery and runny as all get out ,though and didn't cover well at all. Took three coats to get it to look like that.
  13. That looks wicked! Very nice build!
  14. That's a mighty fine job for your first model. I'm almost done with my first build in about 22 years and I hope it turns out close to as nice as this.
  15. That's some fine work right there. Always liked these cars.
  16. That is some really nice work. I love these old cutlasses. Owned a '72 way back in 1984 and 1985.
  17. Holy smokes, that thing looks real. Great job!
  18. Turned out great! Nice smooth paint and the meats out back really set it off well. Hope to finish mine up in the next couple of weeks.
  19. Man that is a crisp, clean build! Looks fantastic!
  20. Nicely done all around. Cherry bombs look great too.
  21. Looks great! Like the engine and interior detail.
  22. Progress report on my '68 Foose Firebird. Color is Testors One Coat Lacquer Lime Ice and a black interior. Got the BMF on it last week, and cleared yesterday. Got the plug wires in the mail today, hopefully get it wired tomorrow, then wet sand and polish the body and final assembly. Will be my second kit behind the '67 Chevelle since about 1996.
