Here's my finished product of the Revell 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 Drag Racer kit. It's painted in Createx Pearl Turquoise with Createx 4053 High Gloss Clear. It was then wet-sanded and polished. Createx Opaque Black was used for the interior and window trim. I used the kit full exhaust to maintain a street/strip type of build but chose the kit supplied "aftermarket wheels" and rear slicks. Spark plug wires, a machined coil from Off The Sprue, and valve stems made from copper wire were added for extra detail. This was a pretty decent kit, although the 'racing" front suspension didn't seem to make sense to me so I used what I assume was the factory stock front suspension. Anyways, lots of fun and a highly recommended kit. Thanks for looking1

Looks real good! Rustoleum can produce a real nice paint job if you know how to spray it, which you obviously do.

I think these taillights are actually the police lights from the Revell 1948 Ford Police Coupe 2 'n 1 kit. I'm not 100% sure though, I have a very bad memory, lol. He certainly doesn't want to get rear-ended when driving it 🤣.

I want to say those are the kit headlights, I don't really remember.

Looks good Mike! I don't think the 5620 is necessarily meant for getting a nice shine, even though it says gloss topcoat on the bottle. I find the 4050 Gloss and more so the 4053 High Gloss to give a far better shine. I have a tutorial series using the Createx paints and clears including wet-sanding, polishing, and waxing for a real nice shine on my YouTube channel if you're interested. Thanks David! I actually can't take credit for the rear tires, whatever kit they came in they were pre-lettered. I think they call it tampo-printing, and I'm real glad the model companies are doing it because it makes the tires look awesome.
