  1. Anyone else have a more exact figure? I'm sure someone has built this.
  2. Now THAT sounds like good advice. Good thinking Ray.
  3. This kit just found it's way into my stash. I've got a kitbash idea that I want to kick around. Could anyone who has built this, or in the process thereof, give me a wheelbase measurement? Preferably in millimeters? Any help is much appreciated.
  4. I had no hassles with Round2 when I asked for two more normal tires for the Sock It To Me Vette, so that I can build the LSR version. They sent them right out, no forms, no nothing.
  5. Yep it's a public forum. A scale model forum. Greg's posts are about scale models. You are not stating an opinion, you are complaining. I can point you to some religious and political sites if that is what you enjoy doing. As I said, if Greg's posts irritate you, please feel free to not participate in his threads. Problem solved.
  6. Very nicely done. I'm looking forward to building my copy of this kit.
  7. I'd subscribe to a digital version. I no longer have room for a magazine collection.
  8. Who cares? If you think for a single moment that the model companies don't peruse these forums occasionally to see what their target demographic is thinking/doing/feeling, you'd be sadly mistaken. So if you want something reissued - you say so. Publicly. It doesn't matter if you agree or not. If you don't like Greg's posts, you are hereby cordially invited to not click on them.
  9. Welcome. We look forward to seeing your work.
  10. I like it. Keep it just as it is.
  11. Did this ever get released? I can't find it on ModelRoundup.
  12. Right now. 32 unbuilt - with plans to build 6 parts kits 3 trade stock 8 WIP's that I'm inspired to finish. 5 more WIPs that are low priority, that I may or may not finish during my lifetime. total - 54 I'm pretty comfortable with that number. I've plans to get the new '29 roadster when it comes out, but that's about it.
  13. Great looking build. Great color and the top is perfect. It's funny though, I never liked the hardtop version of this car. The 2dr post coupe roofline just seems to fit the body style better.
  14. How about adding a red painted panel behind it, sorta billboard style.

James that looks great. I love the hunkered down stance with good fat tires. Looks like a serious threat in a street race.
  16. I gotta say compared to most hobbies, scale auto modeling if fairly low buck. My RC pals spend WAY more than I do. Heck, the average weekend golfer spends more per year than I do. On the whole I got no complaints. The increased kit prices we're seeing lately I don't even bat an eye at. I look at it as entertainment and enjoyment over time, considering it takes me 6 months to finish a model. I also have a very small stash, just 53 kits including WIPs. I don't buy because it's a great kit, or it's a new kit. I buy either because it's a model that speaks to me and I have an idea for it, or because I need parts from it. And I almost never buy multiples. The Revell '67 Charger is the sole exception to that rule.
  17. Thanks guys. Now for the hard part. Rebuilding it.
  18. This look familiar to anyone? I know zip about motorcycles. It's 1/24 or 1/25 I'm sure, it's the perfect size to look awesome in a pickup bed.
  19. I doubt it's allowing the oil to collect IN the frame. I would think that they are dead ended and just cottered to the frame to keep them from moving. Afterward they pull the pins, remove a cap of some sort and drain any oil that's accumulated.
  20. That looks cool. Looking forward to more.
  21. Nicely done. Very realistic.
  22. Great find. I'd clean it up, fix anything broken as best you can. And then leave it as is. This isn't a rare kit and IMHO, it's important to save the old builds that show how far you have come as a builder.
