I'd check the IPMS registry online and then hit your local hobby shop about clubs. I know that the MAGS guys put on a show in Gainesville and the IPMS clubs in Jacksonville put on one in February. That's all I know of in north Florida.

I have this kit too with the red glass. I wish there was someone after market making clear windshields for this one.

Mike, any fumes where you are sitting right now? Seriously guys, just about anything pre-'49, in primer or flat black is called a rat rod these days regardless of the quality of the workmanship or parts used. Where ever the term was coined, it has out grown its origins and is now an automotive trend that continues to grow. Like any automotive trend you either love it or hate it. (I still think lowered mini-trucks are totally ridiculous.)

Well here's the Captains former first mate. Looks like he should have kept his hands off the Captains rum eh? He'll be in the back seat with the rum barrel. I'll be dechroming and drilling out the mug. I want it to resemble an old pewter mug. More soon.

I did this many many moons ago so forgive the workmanship, but I think it's good enough to get the point across. I made two J brackets from styrene and the pivot is a piece of metal rod.

The skull was a pic that I resized and transfered to blue tape. I then cut the stencil on a piece of glass. Transferred the stencil to the trunk and hit it with a few light coats of white primer. Ill be doing the compass rose in a similar fashion. The map was masked with torn tape edges to get that rough effect.

I have several friends that have stopped now using this e-cig. Seems to be a fairly easy and stress free way to quit. My folks smoked when I was a kid, until my dad had a heart attack at 39 years old. He called it "Gods wake up call" and they both quit cold turkey. I give them both a lot of respect for being able to do so. For the sake of the people who love you, give 'em up guys.
