  1. Mike, do yourself a favor and throw everything from Rustoleum away. The stuff is the worst kind of junk. Even that no name brand from WalMart is better. Krylon Crystal Clear is miles better and an acrylic so it will go over about anything. Keep it going guys.
  2. They are from the AMT '37 Chevy Coupe kit.
  3. Agreed. I'm planning something pretty similar.

Nice work. I like the color combo.
  5. Whoa. Very cool. Reusable resin cast materials at the very least.
  6. *shudders* Oh man that's nasty stuff. Switch to a Zap-a-Gap type CA glue and you will never look back. The Plastic Weld from Plastruct does work well with Plastruct products but it does take time. I think Bob has the right of it though. Tack it front, rear and in a curve with CA glue and use the solvent for the rest.
  7. Sounds good Don.
  8. I recall some of the big Japanese companies (Nissan, Mazda, Infiniti, Honda) released a few models with active four wheel steering in the late 80's/early 90's. I'd heard those were kinda nightmarish.
  9. Well I've seen those magnets used for keeping doors closed but never to make hubcaps optional. Fantastic idea.
  10. It is a bit of stress relief isn't it?
  11. I saw footage of a explosion of some sort at the Manhattan Con-Ed station, and heard that the Atlantic City boardwalk is toast.
  12. I got nothing against the guy and would happily deal with him on anything (we've traded in the past and it went fine). I made a comment about one of his posts and he had a fit. End of story.
  13. I didn't even know MCM had one.
  14. Best of luck to everyone in the storms path.
  15. Very cool. I never would have thought to do something like that myself. It needs a dio base. Really nice work.
  16. I think he's a little upset about my reply in his trade thread and wanted to go to the mods about it, and wanted me to know he was going to report me. Thats probably what started it.
  17. I was hoping someone would do this box stock in the Foose fashion just so the haters can see it done right. Keep it going.
  18. Very cool work.
  19. Quite right. It's an excellent kit and I for one am wondering how that happened? On a side note if anyone has a '60 Desoto Adventurer kit in any condition and are willing to part with it please give me a holler.
  20. Nice work. I'd like to see detailed shots of the completed builds featured.
  21. Just like anything guys, once you are out of partice with the lifestyle, jumping back in has consequences.
  22. Looks great Jim. Sorry I missed it. Did the wind give you much problem?
  23. In most hobby circles these are also known as jeweler's saws and they would ideal for what you want to do. Check Micro-Mark.
  24. Ended up dirty? What caused that to happen?
