I was thinking the toyota hilux kits from Aoshima but that would be a straight grille, not Veed. Im trying to think of the other kits with a phantom grille. only other one that would have a V'd grille is the Revell S10 lowrider IF it came with one
-
the phantom grille looks like a S10 grille and surround. I believe it was a monogram kit
-
I think RRR, you and Dennis all sent it to me at some point during my hunt haha. I just have to do it. Ive told myself no more buying complete kits for only a few parts. I agree on the frame horns. It was one of the first things that came off when I was building professionally Ive always liked Quarter elliptical spring set ups a well!

the frame is from the revell 29 roadster and I had to cut the inner wall of the fenders out. I havent been able to get back to it yet honestly to finish it -

Dennis sent me over some wheels and tires for the Vicky. Just need to lock in the engine. Most likely a FE Ford and a 4 or 5 speed -

I always hated seeing 2 tachs in a mustang haha build looks awesome as usual!!! -
now that you show the front end, boy did they drop the ball there. the rear is awesome

I have the Mr Speed version of this kit and ALWAYS forget that it has the stock and mild stuff in it. The wheels and hubcaps were very commonly used on customs and street cars, and more than a few Stude motors ended up in hot rods.

blown 392 hemi out of a 1320 diecast, a pair of revell willys rear slicks and wheels, an uncut 32 3 window and a pair of Drag City Casting halibrand front wheels on AMT Firestones. throw in some parts box "ladder bars" and its shaping up to become a pretty wicked nose up axle car... the chopped 3 window is a Drag City Casting body, the rest is Revell 3 window with Revell thunderbolt rear wheels and slicks. the front are my mock up slingster wheels and tires. It always amazes me how 2 cars from the same era with similar parts can have 2 different looks -
