thanks Doug. Few things aggravate me as much as losing an Ebay auction with less than a minute to go after being high bidder the whole time the auction was going. haha This one pissed me off so much Im gonna copy the stupid thing -
I have an original 64 trailer as well as a fireball trailer. If someone reminds me, I'll dig them out and take photos later today. I was always told they were the same except for the dual axles and ramp removel. the fireball kit came with a single long metal axle, and the ramps went right on it. the single axle from my corvette kit even went right into place. Now I'm curious

lost out on the Ebay auction for the green Studebaker so I've decided to start cutting on one of mine. I roughed out one fender last night to follow the shape of the hood. once I get the fenders done and the top chopped, I'll end up finishing the aero on the nose. Black sharpie indicates the body line I extended. Idk If I'll end up pancaking the hood or not -

I was following along on that one!!! I just lost out on a Studebaker land speed car body on ebay and it pissed me off so much I dug out one of my bodies to see where I need to make some cuts -
I LOVE those wheels! I have most of a set for the right car. I also have a set of turbo fans I cant wait to use. The combo is awesome so far!!! Ill be following

I was thinking the toyota hilux kits from Aoshima but that would be a straight grille, not Veed. Im trying to think of the other kits with a phantom grille. only other one that would have a V'd grille is the Revell S10 lowrider IF it came with one
-
the phantom grille looks like a S10 grille and surround. I believe it was a monogram kit
-
I think RRR, you and Dennis all sent it to me at some point during my hunt haha. I just have to do it. Ive told myself no more buying complete kits for only a few parts. I agree on the frame horns. It was one of the first things that came off when I was building professionally Ive always liked Quarter elliptical spring set ups a well!

the frame is from the revell 29 roadster and I had to cut the inner wall of the fenders out. I havent been able to get back to it yet honestly to finish it -

Dennis sent me over some wheels and tires for the Vicky. Just need to lock in the engine. Most likely a FE Ford and a 4 or 5 speed -
Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!
