  1. Ill be happy if I can get the body in primer and sitting on my mock up shelf, at least for now.
  2. thanks Doug. Few things aggravate me as much as losing an Ebay auction with less than a minute to go after being high bidder the whole time the auction was going. haha This one pissed me off so much Im gonna copy the stupid thing
  3. the white one is the original Vette trailer (at least that is what I was told), the other is the fireball 500. I personally opened the fireball box.
  4. I have an original 64 trailer as well as a fireball trailer. If someone reminds me, I'll dig them out and take photos later today. I was always told they were the same except for the dual axles and ramp removel. the fireball kit came with a single long metal axle, and the ramps went right on it. the single axle from my corvette kit even went right into place. Now I'm curious
  5. lost out on the Ebay auction for the green Studebaker so I've decided to start cutting on one of mine. I roughed out one fender last night to follow the shape of the hood. once I get the fenders done and the top chopped, I'll end up finishing the aero on the nose. Black sharpie indicates the body line I extended. Idk If I'll end up pancaking the hood or not
  6. the first kit I know of is the AMT 64 Corvette as stated, Criag, there are no ramps to my knowledge
  7. I was following along on that one!!! I just lost out on a Studebaker land speed car body on ebay and it pissed me off so much I dug out one of my bodies to see where I need to make some cuts
  8. I LOVE those wheels! I have most of a set for the right car. I also have a set of turbo fans I cant wait to use. The combo is awesome so far!!! Ill be following
  9. I was thinking the toyota hilux kits from Aoshima but that would be a straight grille, not Veed. Im trying to think of the other kits with a phantom grille. only other one that would have a V'd grille is the Revell S10 lowrider IF it came with one
  10. the phantom grille looks like a S10 grille and surround. I believe it was a monogram kit
  11. I've been searching ebay etc for the wheels/tires, I also recently put a want ad up. I'll get a set eventually. and maybe then I'll actually cast them myself (or try anyways haha)
  12. I think RRR, you and Dennis all sent it to me at some point during my hunt haha. I just have to do it. Ive told myself no more buying complete kits for only a few parts. I agree on the frame horns. It was one of the first things that came off when I was building professionally Ive always liked Quarter elliptical spring set ups a well!
  13. LOOKS AWESOME!!!! I NEED about 10 sets of those rear wheels and tires!!!
  14. it's a combination I'd love to build on real life
  15. the frame is from the revell 29 roadster and I had to cut the inner wall of the fenders out. I havent been able to get back to it yet honestly to finish it
  16. This kit is one of my favorites. You dont need anything extra to make a good looking kit out of it if you dont want to.
  17. completely forgot the Canadian cars were Chevy powered
  18. Always thought those were pretty cars!!! what about putting a 421 in it?
  19. Dennis sent me over some wheels and tires for the Vicky. Just need to lock in the engine. Most likely a FE Ford and a 4 or 5 speed
  20. Dennis Lacy sent me some wheels and tires for my Vicky. Now I just need to lock in the engine. I'm thinking FE Ford, and a 4 or 5 speed
