  1. The "subframes" on Fords and Mercurys are not like the GMS. They are not removable and are part of the floor assemblies. IE not removable The floors would be primer and overspray along the edges (OR complete body color), engine compartment (inner fenders, firewall etc) would be body color
  2. would you mind measuring that for me!!!!
  3. I swear GM designed the Vega to look perfect as a Drag car! NICE WORK
  4. all it needs is the big V shaped spoiler now!
  5. Always liked those PLymouths. I have one half shaved that I got rid of YEARS ago and it showed back up last month.
  6. looking good so far TJ!
  7. youre making me wish I never sold my LX Dennis.
  8. here is Eds page. Hes also on Facebook under Drag City Casting https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/

  10. most likely a Meyer. I cant remember if Thickson or Edelbrock ever made one like that. I havent messed with a flathead in a bunch of years now. I think I sold my last one like 6 years ago
  11. hes my go to for resin stuff since my main interest are early hot rods, customs and drag cars
  12. I have a 32 in my mock up area that I keep wanting to find time for...its also one of Eds Bodies, full fendered but with pie crusts, spindle mounts and a blown olds currently
  13. really digging it!!!
  14. Coming out killer! the proton packs look awesome! Anyone else look at these caddys and see a slammed crew cab pick up? haha
  15. Measure it and let me know, Im sure I have one I can send you
  16. one of my favorites is Danny Shafer's 1956 Ford F-100. It was the centerfold of Hot Rod magazine in August of 1990. They updated it at some point and it lost the original appeal for me. Your mock up makes me want to do some cutting myself haha
  17. Ill be following along! but I must interject, a gasser would not have that large of tire, they would also not be tucked under the fenders. I know the subject has been beat to death everywhere, and Im not trying to discourage you from building what you want in any way. if the tires are tucked under and its tubbed, its a pro street pick up, if it also has a straight axle, its a straight axled pro street pick up. I just grew up with my father being a 60s to early 70s Ford and Mercury drag race historian and stuff like that has been drummed into my head my whole life haha
  18. thats one reason Im not going with a t56 in my 65 Comet. thanks!
  19. thanks, I'll definitely check it out
