  2. I was gonna try holding out until you had all of the series posted..but I cant wait. THIS IS AWESOME!
  3. most likely a Meyer. I cant remember if Thickson or Edelbrock ever made one like that. I havent messed with a flathead in a bunch of years now. I think I sold my last one like 6 years ago
  4. hes my go to for resin stuff since my main interest are early hot rods, customs and drag cars
  5. I have a 32 in my mock up area that I keep wanting to find time for...its also one of Eds Bodies, full fendered but with pie crusts, spindle mounts and a blown olds currently
  6. Coming out killer! the proton packs look awesome! Anyone else look at these caddys and see a slammed crew cab pick up? haha
  7. one of my favorites is Danny Shafer's 1956 Ford F-100. It was the centerfold of Hot Rod magazine in August of 1990. They updated it at some point and it lost the original appeal for me. Your mock up makes me want to do some cutting myself haha
  8. Ill be following along! but I must interject, a gasser would not have that large of tire, they would also not be tucked under the fenders. I know the subject has been beat to death everywhere, and Im not trying to discourage you from building what you want in any way. if the tires are tucked under and its tubbed, its a pro street pick up, if it also has a straight axle, its a straight axled pro street pick up. I just grew up with my father being a 60s to early 70s Ford and Mercury drag race historian and stuff like that has been drummed into my head my whole life haha
  9. thats one reason Im not going with a t56 in my 65 Comet. thanks!
  10. hey guys, with rising kit costs, I'm no longer buying kits for 1 or 2 parts. Are there any sources for a modern domestic performance type manual trans.... basically tremec 5 speed t56 6 speed etc. I saying that, rattle off some kits that have them so I can search for cheap ones. I know the Revell Saleen mustang, Revell Rat Roadster and Nascar for modern 4 speeds (though I'm mostly looking for street type stuff) THANKS!!!
  11. IDK when Ill start, but Im already putting the pieces together.
  12. its like youre inside my head. Im planning a full fendered vicky with that same body. I was mocking it up on a revell chassis and I was planning on using the AMT wheels and tires haha Mine will be more tradtional though
  13. with the amount of work you have into it, Id be displaying it just as it is for now. Like Alan said, eventually youll get back to it.
  14. I had a 1:1 61 that I had mocked up at the ride height I wanted. My plan was a wild 60s era show custom. I miss that car somedays. nice work on the resto!
  15. thats gonna be a seller for sure...Im gonna need a few
