  1. That's very cool
  2. Excellent work!
  3. That looks great, if anything you've done a nicer job here than they did on the 1:1!
  4. Awesome wok, the body extensions look great!
  5. Thanks, Joe! A few years ago I would've said that the tools were probably long gone and no one would resurrect it, but after some of the things Round 2 has come up with lately I'm not so sure any more...
  6. I'm working through my oddballs as fast as I can!
  7. I did this in Model Master's Champagne Gold: Not a car, but C-3PO was painted with Krylon's 14K Gold:
  8. Great job on the motor, some very nice detail work!
  9. Looks great so far, foil looks much more realistic than heated/bent plastic
  10. Nice work, it looks good with the modern wheels!
  11. Thanks! The chassis was almost totally scratchbuilt, the only existing things that I used were a couple of parts from a Back to the Future DeLorean and part of a Hot Wheels car. I based it on the screencaps from the show (though I had to adjust a few details to make everything fit). The engine is my own fabrication (mostly parts box stuff and another Hot Wheels car). I just tried to make something that looked appropriately high-tech.
  12. Very nice work on this, the weathering and rust look great
  13. Fantastic work! If I hadn't seen the pictures, I wouldn't have expected this combination to look as good as it does.
  14. Thanks, guys! In the series, Lola is capable of converting from "street" to "flight" modes. I'm generally not a fan of flying cars, but I like both the TV show and the base Corvette, so I split the difference and added all of the gizmos while keeping it more or less stock looking. Here's a screenshot from the first season:
  15. I posted some WIP photos in that part of the forum, but finally got her finished up today: The short version is I started out with AMT's '62 Corvette and reworked just about everything to turn it into agent Coulson's beloved "Lola" from the TV series Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  16. Very cool!
  17. Thanks for the feedback so far, and for the additional photo! Unfortunately, there's almost nothing in common between the two styles beyond the general idea...I've already tried to see if there was a way to convert them, but I'd essentially be scratchbuilding the whole wheel by that point.
  18. Looking good so far!
  19. Thanks, I'll pass it on to him!
  20. Great project, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this!
  21. No, my father built these. It were one of the times where our interests overlapped, since he builds stock cars and I do movie cars.
  22. Thanks, guys! Here's a couple more shots:
