  1. That looks fantastic, very nice choice of colors!
  2. That's very cool, nicely done!
  3. Both are beautifully done, and make a nice pair together!
  4. Very nice work on all of those, it's great to see an automotive history like that!
  5. Thanks, guys! Just two more to go, and I'll finally be caught up on Vin Diesel's 2nd-gen Chargers... I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere, so they're a combination of several sources. The tires are General Grabbers from B-N-L Resins (link) with custom lettering printed by Fireball Modelworks (white) and myself (red). The wheels are 3D printed items I drew in SketchUp and had printed at Shapeways using their ultra frosted detail (link)
  6. Finally finished this off over the weekend. It started as a Revell '68 Charger body on an AMT NASCAR chassis, though there's not much left of either one... Like most of my TV/movie models, I tried to build it as it was described more than as it actually was (e.g., the prop cars used Chevy motors, I went with an actual Hemi as suggested by the rear flanks). All comments/criticisms/questions welcome!
  7. Beautiful work, that looks great!
  8. Don't forget the Good Guys Taxi, Out of Sight ZZR, Good Times His & Hers Mustangs, and Hero Lincoln...for a while, it seemed like *everything* got a kit!
  9. This diecast was released by MotorMax, and comes in several wheel/hood varieties. I used one for my Eleanor after being unable to find a suitable styrene kit: The Testors kits are similar looking, but share no parts with MotorMax's version:
  10. I always liked the lines of these, and you did a great job with the custom touches!
  11. Very nicely done, I like the clean look you went with!
  12. Interesting idea, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.
  13. I bought the "Spinout" version of the Wix car a while back, like you I was impressed that they got such a relatively cheap diecast to look as good as it does.
  14. Very nice job weathering this, it looks like it turned out great!
  15. Looks good! What color did you use for it?
  16. This is looking great, nice work!
  17. Beautiful work, that looks great!
  18. I've done both whitewalls and lettering with my gel pen, and have been very happy with the results on vinyl. Not so much on ABS, which seems to wipe away easily even after weeks of drying.
  19. Nicely done, that looks great!
  20. That's cool, great idea!
  21. Beautiful work, this is a great looking '57!
  22. I checked HLJ's listings for wheel kits current and discontinued, no luck
  23. Very nice, clean work on this!
  24. That looks great, nice work!
  25. Revell's diecast that they released as part of the original The Fast and the Furious license was actually very nicely done, with many of the parts (chassis components, bumpers, etc.) swappable with their plastic kit so it could be upgraded however far you'd like to take it: ...or, you can go the other way and use the grille from the diecast and modify either their '68 or '69 kit:
