  1. Great looking replica of a great looking car - nice work!
  2. Awesome work as usual, that turned out great!
  3. Beautiful work on this! Whose paint did you use?
  4. Seconding Jesse's suggestion, the Bondo 2-part glazing putty is great. For tiny cracks & pinholes, I like Tamiya's gray filler.
  5. I have one of these that I keep meaning to start - at a glance the fit and finish actually look pretty good.
  6. That looks like a (very) slightly tweaked version of the concept used for Bumblebee in the most recent Transformers movie.
  7. Great job on this! I found a couple of these in gold a while back, it's nice to see what they can look like with a little work
  8. That's very cool
  9. Excellent work!
  10. That looks great, if anything you've done a nicer job here than they did on the 1:1!
  11. Awesome wok, the body extensions look great!
  12. Thanks, Joe! A few years ago I would've said that the tools were probably long gone and no one would resurrect it, but after some of the things Round 2 has come up with lately I'm not so sure any more...
  13. I'm working through my oddballs as fast as I can!
  14. I did this in Model Master's Champagne Gold: Not a car, but C-3PO was painted with Krylon's 14K Gold:
  15. Great job on the motor, some very nice detail work!
  16. Looks great so far, foil looks much more realistic than heated/bent plastic
  17. Nice work, it looks good with the modern wheels!
  18. Thanks! The chassis was almost totally scratchbuilt, the only existing things that I used were a couple of parts from a Back to the Future DeLorean and part of a Hot Wheels car. I based it on the screencaps from the show (though I had to adjust a few details to make everything fit). The engine is my own fabrication (mostly parts box stuff and another Hot Wheels car). I just tried to make something that looked appropriately high-tech.
  19. Very nice work on this, the weathering and rust look great
  20. Fantastic work! If I hadn't seen the pictures, I wouldn't have expected this combination to look as good as it does.
  21. Thanks, guys! In the series, Lola is capable of converting from "street" to "flight" modes. I'm generally not a fan of flying cars, but I like both the TV show and the base Corvette, so I split the difference and added all of the gizmos while keeping it more or less stock looking. Here's a screenshot from the first season:
  22. I posted some WIP photos in that part of the forum, but finally got her finished up today: The short version is I started out with AMT's '62 Corvette and reworked just about everything to turn it into agent Coulson's beloved "Lola" from the TV series Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  23. Very cool!
