  1. Very nice work, that looks great!
  2. Sure, this was painted with R/C paint:
  3. The original Herbie was a '63 VW, which unfortunately has never been properly kitted or made available in diecast. The closest thing is Fabbri's '61 VW, which is virtually identical (aside from the Wolfsburg crest on the hood) and even comes in L87 Pearl White. The only down side is that they only made eight, and they were all accidentally shipped to a clothing store in Utah that occasionally sells one when they find the box. I've had an easier time tracking down Nitto Vanette kits from the late '70s than I have these diecasts that were made in 2010. Still, I finally managed to track down a second one, and after some cleaning, corrected details, and a set of decals from Hobby Design, I now have the titular car from Herbie Rides Again: Now I just need to find two more...
  4. Very clean looking, nice work!
  5. Very nice work, the Cosmo Sport was a cool little car.
  6. Very clean work, that looks great!
  7. Thanks, guys!
  8. Thanks, guys! The shifter was scratch built from styrene and a straight pin:
  9. That looks great, nice job recovering it!
  10. Started with Revell's TF&TF release from 2001. Stripped & modified the body to include the exposed blower belt and slightly wider rear wheel openings. Modified & detailed engine with MAD 727 transmission, scratchbuilt roll cage, detailed interior, full exhaust system, and Jada wheels: Any comments/criticisms welcome!
  11. I kinda have the Ferrari...I bought the Hasegawa kit they used for the Photoshop to turn into that very car. Would absolutely buy that Olds as well.
  12. Some truly incredible work here, thanks for sharing your in-progress pics!
  13. Seconded, that is some incredible work
  14. Great job all around, but I just have to echo how amazing the Gulf car looks!
  15. Beautiful work, the colors suit it perfectly!
  16. Nicely done! Were they left bare, or painted to match the engine (or something else)?
  17. Outstanding work, that metal finish looks great and I love the roof deco!
  18. Very cool, where did these wheels come from?
  19. Does anyone know if the Grant 15801 "Flame" wheel is available in any kits, diecast cars, or aftermarket sets?
  20. Nice work, that turned out great!
  21. Like Tom, I only have only little flame car in my bunch: That looks really good, one of the best upgraded HHRs I've seen. What's the main color, and what are the wheels?
  22. Very nice work, it's great to see another one of these built!
