  1. Much appreciated, thanks!
  2. Much appreciated, thanks!
  3. Thanks! It is a fun movie to watch, especially for the local scenery in places.
  4. Thanks, guys! That was one comment I kept seeing over and over when I was reading about the kit, that the stance wasn't right if built box stock. I really tried to get it as close as I could, thanks!
  5. Thanks everyone! Thanks for the tip! I would like to do a 2nd-gen Charger, so I'll keep an eyye out for the Hawaiian or Chi Town Hustler...NNL East is this weekend, maybe I'll have some luck in the hunt. Round2 helped by making the triangular tips as separate decals, but getting everything lined up was still some work. Lots of Micro Sol/Micro Set to get everything laid down, and a little custom mixed paint to touch up the inevitable gaps.
  6. Thanks, guys!
  7. Just wrapped up my Shirley Muldowney "Bounty Huntress" Mustang. Built from the MPC kit, with a few modifications to better match the look of the car in Heart Like a Wheel. It's only my second funny car, but I'll definitely be trying another one. A full writeup of the build is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms welcome!
  8. It's a still frame of a prop vehicle taken at speed in a 56-year old movie...there's only so much to work with here. Now think of how much fun it was when our reference material was only available via VHS. Anywhoo, the one on the far right was recognized as the Hillorn Fuel Injection sticker:
  9. Tried it, no luck. The more prominent ones near the top of the car were common on the racing circuit - Bell, Premiere, Autolite, Raybestos, etc. But the bottom of the car seems to have random stickers that kind of "fit the space," like the Black & Decker mentioned above. They could have been made up for the movie, and I'll go with that if need be, but I still figured I'd try to see if anyone knew them before I went that route.
  10. New pic, not a lot better than the first one but it has fewer artifacts so it might appear clearer.
  11. Great build of a neat little car!
  12. Awesome work, and the story for them is great!
  13. Great job all around, that looks fantastic!
  14. Awesome job on this, very clean work!
  15. Awesome job on this, nice to see Leon's ride remembered!
  16. Great job on this, probably the best build of the kit I've seen!
  17. Any of Revell's 1968-1970 or AMT's 1971 Charger kits ought to have everything you need.
