For anyone unfamiliar with the Fallout game series, the Highwayman was an amalgam of every 1950s excess in one car, then left out in the apocalypse to cook for a few decades. The bulk of this build combined the body from a SnapFast Slammers "Street Fury" and the roof from an AMT '57 Chevy Bel Air, then used the interior from at least two different Ford Galaxies. Wheels, pipes, grille, etc. were pulled from the parts box and modified. The paint is Tamiya Silver Leaf and Gunmetal, then heavily weathered using Vallejo effects paints, Tamiya weathering effects, and a light mist of Dullcote. As always, any comments/criticisms are welcome!
The old game sprites weren't sharp enough to give the car a lot of details, but one that was obvious was the missing trunk lid and cargo full of survival gear. More scratch building and parts box to fill it in with everything I thought was necessary...and if I realize I forgot something, I can just say, "it's in the crate" (which was made from a wooden knife from a local food truck).
