  1. Excellent work, that looks great!
  2. Great looking car, it's nice to see one of these finished!
  3. Another great rescue! As someone guilty of both extra driving lights and bright yellow slapper bars on my early builds (usually done with more enthusiasm than skill), I kind of miss that those had to be 86ed but can't argue the decision. Also, seeing it next to the AMT/MPC version...yikes! I had used mine as essentially a cartoon car plus I painted it black, so the wonky proportions aren't quite as noticeable. But after seeing this I'll still have to keep it far away from the Revell kit once I build it.
  4. Very cool, that's a great use of the parts!
  5. Nicely done! I just wrapped up one of these recently, and "some issues" is a very polite way of putting it!
  6. Nicely done, and great to see one in an unusual color!
  7. Thank you for bumping this, I had missed it before but it is a fantastic project!
  8. Beautiful work on this!
  9. I had bought the tin box reissue, which came with a pretty good photo reference book. Even so, there was a lot of guessing I had to do, and a lot of details that changed across the life of the car so there was never a right answer.
  10. Looks good, welcome!
  11. Very cool, that turned out great!
  12. Thanks, guys! The kit was very very much an "early" model, but at least provides a good starting point. Yeah, this was kind of a longer one - I try to keep things short but it doesn't always work ? Glad you like the look of the site! I'm a web/graphic designer by profession, and so it was built from the ground up. It's not my fanciest work, but it does everything I need it to and is easy for me to update.
  13. Nice recovery! I have one of these, and there was always something "off" about it but I wasn't sure what it was. After reading this, I bet it's the roof.
  14. Thanks!
  15. Some incredible custom work here, beautifully done!
  16. Really dig the look of that with the diffuser under the tailgate!
  17. Thank you!
  18. Looks good! The stance is perfect, and I like the extra engine detailing.
  19. Excellent work, I have one of these on the bench now.
  20. Thanks!
  21. Thanks, guys! Maybe? I can't remember...I built that one about 16 years ago, so I may have posted something back when I first joined up here. I saw a Laurel & Hardy Ford done up like that, it was a really stunning piece. I was thinking about doing something similar with a Sin City car, all black & white except for a single shot of color somewhere. I've heard that, this just happened to be my first experience with one. They really missed the mark, though it could probably pass for a V6 with a little work.
  22. I always liked these Ferraris, nicely done!
